Akashita corporation empathy compilation
I was asked to post this and since I havent posted much on here I honestly do not mind. So this is a 6 track compilation, I am aware of the bands on here such as Wet Pedals, Billy's band Secret Smoker, Coma Regalia and Waller. I don't know the other 2. The compilation has potential to be put in vinyl instead of cassette but I guess there isnt much money going on this so yeah. If you havent heard the bands I mention you can check out here.

The Nolan Gate
I haven't posted so much here but I am back early morning. Yesterday I had hash and my god I was high all day yesterday even when i had stopped. Anyways, The Nolan gate is where Mothman left off. If you don't know Mothman they were a mid 90's hardcore/post hardcore/Mathy like band from Jersey who did 2 7"s and 2 Split 7"s one being with another great bandcalled Okara. Ill likely go on talking about these guys on my angryemonerdblogspot since I happen to have The Nolan gate's debut cd and 2 of Mothman releases. TNG has a bandcamp with all 3 albums up for free if you are curious. Sent by rays and Ocean lord are very amazing.

Kimono beach party
Last night I kept listening to this band non stop, this uk band is slightly familiar with the moves The brave little abacus brought only much smoother like. The band has put out an amazing full length entitled "Je suis lion" and it's the only thing I been playing all day. I really like the guitars and keyboards. The band has recently put out a EP not long ago (about a few weeks ago) its good but the whole keyboard thing is sorta fading out and I don't like how the mixing came out, the drums are a little to low to hear and the guitars are much louder. The quality is great but listening to the ep with headphones and especially if you mix music yourself you can hear those little details. The EP wouldve been great if the mixing was somewhat better or at least louder drums. But Je suis lion makes up for it.

Beneath the beach
Quick update post, this band I found today along with plenty of others. This one reminds me of a instrumental early Foals Antidotes-esque stuff. Its very very fucking golden. Its practicallt Foals Antidotes minus the vocals. So if that's your sort of thing this might be a perfect fit for you style of music.. Hell, that is a perfect style.

Tapestry
I haven't posted here in a while due to angryemonerd.blogspot.com but Ill try to post here. Tapestry is a Mineral-Esque band, if you like that MD 7" Tapestry is all about that. They been around since 2012 but seems like they haven't released much besides a 5 track ep, a song on that MEM crap compilation and a 2 songs on a 4 way split (which would be there recent) the band reminds me of a crossover of Typecast and Mineral but that's just me.

Lopez on the runway
Sometime yesterday I found some band some dude recommended on a music group and I liked what I heard. They have a distinct modern indie rock sound with some emo vibes thrown in some sort of Texas is the reason/The promise ring. Not as much but some lil flow. The band released 4 ep's during their 4 year lifespan, so they put out a discography tape with all these songs. And they are not bad. If you been wanting some chill relaxing indie rock tunes from a real indie rock band here is your chance to do it so.

Damezumari on bandcamp
Well I haven't had much thought on what to post next but Damezumari had the idea to post almost there entire discography on bandcamp. I shouldn't explain who they are since I have mentioned them before here and if you don't know who they are then you are missing out and you got some catching up to do. It has all releases including the unreleased Blood Meridian EP and a unreleased song that happens to be compiled with those other unreleased b sides and what not, but that specific untitled unreleased song was the last one they ever jammed to as a band and a rough draft of some sort. The bandcamp is only missing the Fire team Charlie split and for some strange reason they haven't uploaded that one yet or probably will never, who knows. Thought I'd let you all know. I also may be starting a new blogspot focused on physical releases I own ONLY, so no band recommendations or what so ever, may be new or old. Plain and simple, physical releases only. I thought about ripping some of these vinyl on mp3 along with some cassettes I got and CD's. Although I haven't bought much CD's my vinyl game has improved over the past 2 years by large. Will talk about that some other time.

Calculator's last show
Well like in the last posts I mentioned I did go to that set. I can't talk about Calculator without mentioning the other bands who played first. The first band that are (I assume) new played. Really digging the riffs here and there although no one seemed hyped for them. But many who stayed inside nodded and shit. Second band to play was Ten Thousand Leagues. I was suprised that Mark sang or even played new songs. The whole line up was different Andrew from Moldar played bass while Jeff from calculator played the guitar, nonetheless I was in love with the new tunes. La Bella was next which they announced a debut LP and played 2 new songs on their set I was digging the vibe a lot and I admire the vocalist from that band. He mentioned a story about taking his moms car driving a long way to watch calculator play. After that Dangers left, I wasnt too interested to see them although everyone else was and it seemed like most people went to go see them amd calculator. I stayed in the back on that one. Finally Calculator. I was front row on that one. They played 12 songs from all releases, we all shouted and screamed to those songs (I know the lyrics to these roots a little but more than the ones from This will come to pass. I havent heard that length as much but I loved it. At the end, they all took a photo and stuff I talked to Nik and told him he played a amazing set and asked for merch. Well I picked up the calc 7" in oxblood color and This will come to pass (I kinda wished I picked that shirt) its those nights I will remember its a sad day to say Moldar/Colorchromatic/Matsuri/John Cota/Summer Vacation/Calculator are all dead. God damn. Ill post a link to calculator's discography including the demo soon. I am planning on picking up New Forms 7" soon as well. I doubt Ill get the 4 way split LP. Almost everything I have id say.

Colossal Rex
Well I just found out they were once called Colossal Rex and released a 5 song single sided limited 12". I believe this was released last year. The songs were recorded in 2012 (still some confusion) but it is Colossal Wrecks alright. You can also download this for free or buy it off Mountain Man Records and I believe Lauren Records might have this as well.
Colossal Wrecks
Last night was one of the most important events I ever attended to. Calculator's final show. It went great and it was a extremely good set. A band called Sophie and Dangers played along side my cali favorites Ten Thousand Leagues and La Bella. Calculator played about 12 songs 1 off the last 7" another off New forms 7" and 5 off This will come to pass and another 5 off These roots grow deep. Possibly the best show I have ever went to. Well after the show I met up with Mark and I bought some merch off his label Kyeo Speaks months ago and well he was a nice guy. He had run out one of the tapes I ordered so he gave me 3 random tapes Kittyhawk, Fugue and Lester Freamon. I also got my Dream Caste tape I ordered. But he also gave me 3 records the 2 Ten Thousand Leagues splits and Colossal Wrecks debut LP (will talk about right now hold on) after that I went up to Nik about Calculator merch but he was pretty busy and I guess he didn't tell me that the merch was being sold at the back of the venue (Bridgetown DIY) and I got myself Calculator's final 7" and This will come to pass (Both Count Your Lucky Stars releases) in the end it was a cool ass night, I didnt get home until 1 in the morning. I was off beat tired. Today morning I woked up and looked at the zines I ordered and Mark threw in Her breathe on glass compilation cd What we left behind and Matsuri's Whales EP (no covers) but that is fine I can't complain. Well then I checked Colossal Wrecks and I found out these guys are from my hometown. I have known them or saw them being mentioned here and there through Lauren Records but didn't think they'd be from my area. Well they sound good. A pop punkish emo band is all I can say about them. I am not too familiar with them yet. But I will once I spin this record every so often. You can download there LP for free on their bandcamp or you can purchase one off Lauren Records or my city's finest label Mountain Man Records.

End of 2015
So it is almost end of the year and I am waiting on a counselor at my college campus. I'd want to point out the blogspot won't be active til January. So it'll be about 2-3 weeks with no posting. But next year there will be some amazing shit to post. Also keep an eye out on Sepia//Memory. Like the facebook page and stuff I have some releases to be soon released and I guess Re-released??? But yeah, this blogspot isnt dead yet but I'll likely be working on some s//m and mainly work. I want to have more time to record the new s//m songs and I might be doing something else if it comes to it. This year 26 releases suprised me to be my favorite. Old bands from past year or year before also new bands that came out this year who just impressed me so well. Youll probably get a video on these releases. My 2012 video got deleted so I will have to do that again.

All my wishes were thrown down a well and should die there
I found this band last night but I felt like posting them today, p.e I might not post until January maybe last days of December. This band is from San Diego and are right hands of Flowers taped to pens although Flowers is more of a modern emo band many band wagons would hop on, this one still holds the 90's early 00's tradition of emo jams. Which is why I just fucking loved this so bad. So they just released their 8 song debut this month (I haven't even downloaded yet) will soon. So if you like screamo bands with the 90's/early 00's sound you will not be disappointed. Im off to get up since its 7:36 and I have a long day ahead of me.

Small Steps- Death Became The Light
I don't think I ever mentioned this one? I thought I did. Anyway, Small Steps broke up this year after this full release. The band put out 2 ep's a set of demos as "Spider King" and this release. I actually enjoy this release as well, much different from the Puzzlejar ep but still has a fresh sound. The songs are harder, shorter and faster. This may be put on tape which I am waiting on so I can get one. It's sad see this band break up after not much recognition at all and little time of being an active band. Well I guess that's what happens to extremely good bands. It's barely morning and I am waiting on a tone of band merch and shit of that nature.

Zoo books/Water Polo Split
It has been raining like crazy today, I even heard the rain slamming against my window really hard, shit was a trip. Today is a trip cause Zoo books/Water polo split just came out. Zoo books features 2 new songs and a re-recorded song off the demo. Its pretty cool to see them highly active. Water Polo in the other side did 2 new songs slightly different than the EP (A tiny disappointed nonetheless okay)

Water Polo
So my semester just about ended. So this is what went down today, morning I woked up as usual watching Its always sunny in Philly then I headed to my film class to get my grade and take my final for speech. Well it was an interesting day because my pot dealer gave me 2 dimes and well me and 3 other classmates decided to smoke one of the dimes. One of them had a car so we chilled and smoked about 2 blunts I believe then we headed back at 12:30 and we had more for 2 session so we smoked more and I headed to my class very stoned at 2 since the last session didn't end til 1:45 during the time smoking those last 2 sessions we were talking about bullshit and how this other chick in our class was suppose to smoke with one of the guys who was smoking with me but he kept telling me that she wanted to get closer to me cause she knows I smoke with him (He is a older dude) It was kinda wierd cause we got deep on the conversation cause it was odd how she just wanted to smoke once she saw me but I highly doubt it was because of me since I had invited her once and I guess I got the "Never reply to the text" message. So I am still convinced it is not cause of me plus that guy left at 1:50 and I had class at 2 and didn't get out until 3 and she had gotten out until 12:20something, I don't know I am confused or maybe she was fucking around. I walked to my speech class and a classmate asked me if I smoked because I smelled like weed. When he brought this subject and began laughing I grew a little paranoid because I am reserved and I told him I am okay and fine it's not like it's something new. So we had to do our group presentations and I was high and I didn't know what to do so I sorta was tripping out but I caught along and did well. Finally we took our final and I got my grade for my last speech which was a B- as for my film class I got a C+. As I got home I started working on my Astronomy class (I have a 36% which is an F and a D is 40%) I did extra credit worth 9% of my grade along with a quiz, 2 hw packets, 2 extra credit hw packets and my final test in with the hopes of bumping my grade to a C- or even a D Ill be okay with. Likely chances of a D are high, if I did well on this final I may even get a low C and with the extra hw packets who knows. So I found out Zoo books is releasing a split tape with this band called Water polo this Friday (Who started this year) I am very excited to hear the 3-4 songs Zoo books made, I am excited to see Zoo books being very active this year releasing 3 releases this year. Well let us speak of Water polo, they are more of a indie rock band than a The Reptilian-esque like Zoo books. They aren't bad and the bands recent discography is pretty darn good. I like the work on the guitar strummings and stuff. I hope you all check it out.

Palmkite- 2011
Ey yo, I am back. I am still trying to transfer my music back to my laptop. In the meantime here is Palmkite's new jams. They got back which I am excited although I am a little disappointed at the fact its not a debut but a second ep. Other than that I still haven't heard these due to me still moving shit to my new laptop but you guys can check this shit out. This week is my last week of class and well I am excited for the 2014 list this year. The band has put out a self titled ep and a demo.

Fourth Wanderers
I'm back and Fourth Wanderers released their debut 8 song length they also have an EP (I forgot to post here). The band reminds me of bands like Eldritch Anisette and Everyone asked about you. Vocals are so cute and lovable. Well it is raining and I am halfway done on my persuasive speech so I gotta go.

The Hareste
Friday fucking morning bitches, I am dry cause my pot dealer is a dickhead and well all I have is beer. Anyway, someone did a bandcamp of The Hareste's releases (7", ep and 2 comp tracks) they are as well from the same area as The Spirit of Versailles and have the same style. The 2nd bassist of The spirit of versailles did the recording engineering on the 7". He also gave me a copy of the 7". We all love the real screamo stuff so don't sleep on this and download it. Now that I think about it I might have posted this before but these are better quality and if you want them in wav and what not.

Stable boys
It's Thursday morning right now, I am about to head to class and I am dry ass fuck (No weed) but I don't think I ever mentioned Stable boys. It shares members from Algernon, Boyfriends and Snowing I believe. So yeaaahhh that is some fucking hype huh? This band died shortly. They released a 2 song tape and a EP entitled Attitudes that is on cassette and 7". I might pick up the 7" sometime soon although the 7" isn't fancy and it's plain white. They also released a song on a compilation and that is a wrap for them. Well I am out for the day. Peace.
