Remember of my last post on Tricot me mentioning that the band recently will release there debut full length entitled THE on October 2nd? Well I finally got me a link for you guy to share. After leaving a comment on Tricot's last.fm page about a link for the new album someone kindly uploaded the bands length on zippyshare and I re-uploaded the length on there again. So its a 13ish I'd say 12 song length album since the first track is an intro some songs are from the singles they released such as Bakyuun EP, Oyasumi Ep and there single CD "99.974" about 8 of the songs are new, the song Orange juice has vocals like in that music video I showed on here. So it is still a good album as I expected one of the songs did sorta disappointed me because it sounded like a different direction but then again there is always that slow jam on most albums bands make that sounds a bit odd from the rest. So is the album good as the rest of the releases? Hell yes it is still fresh and badass. Maybe even a bit better from the last releases I will say. The band shows sign of progression on this length and lets hope the band doesn't change signature style on the next material. This band needs to tour in the fucking U.S and come to LA so I can see and meet them in person although I doubt they will understand how much I appreciate there talented music. I have mentioned that I would buy all the releases but because international orders and shipping sucks this may be one of the few bands I will not get a physical copy of which is a bummer because the band deserves the support which I am sure everyone has bought the album down there. I am not a fan of buying music on itunes but I am sure some people from America and around the world did even saw some guy mentioning on one of Tricot's facebook posts that they bought the album. That is awesome buddy but like I have mentioned a 23 dollar CD is really not well worth the effort of buying. I don't blame the label or the band but the currency over there is much different than the one here plus its an import so that speaks for itself. Anyways I am going to shower, eat a chicken burrito and head out with my cousin to smoke a blunt and possibly talk about life and music (We both have a different sort of music since he is more of a rave kind of music dude and we all know what I like)he needs to be stress free and I do to since life lately has been sorta of a bitch for both of us.
