Ghost Cat

I have been listen to this band a lot lately within the week. Even some good news I been talking to 2 chicks (one I am currently with right now) and the other is a friend I been knowing since fall of 2010 when one of my ex's broke up with me. She actually lives by where I usually go to often (North Long Beach) She's like the Ramona Flowers I been day dreaming of a Cool, Sweet, turdy like myself, someone I can joke with, and take to shows with and do that cute shit with punk rocker/psychobillish chick. I doubt she digs me but I can try since she rather be with a sweet interesting guy ---> I'm right here. Even though I am with another girl but I really don't take her to seriously since she already wants to sleep with me and I know those girls. I been around the block for a while and those girls man it isn't so worth it but you cant say no neither haha. I really need to lay off high school girls that are 16-17 but I am a specialist at getting those girls, can't help myself. Anyway Ghost Cat I been currently been listening to for the past week while I been playing fallout 3 and fallout new vegas. There fucking awesome. Vocals style is alike Lumber lungs self titled LP only that in Ghost cat the singer is a male and the band has somewhat of a post hardcoreish/emo/screamy band to it. Sorry I literally hardly know much of this band since I currently been listening to them non stop. I really find them entertaining to listen to I don't know why. The band has released 2 EP's. the 9 songs they have right now in total isn't really enough but it still keeps me relaxed. I can't say they sound familiar like other bands I've heard but my guess would be a more awesome (and actually twinkly band) than Snowing. BTW I do like snowing somewhat but I do not find that band twinkly in any fucking way or that twinkly daddy shit thay came up with there just a emo/popish band from the midwest though pretty chill. Getting back to the subject with Ghost Cat. Yeeeaaah, there pretty fucking dope. Both EP's are very cool. I dig the vocals, something of his voice turns me on don't know why; just does. Anyway check this band out. Very catchy. Though I consider this band more of a fall sound rather than summer. Hear them on there bandcamp you can download there first EP free or download there second Ep down below.

Auto? Automatic!!

This summer is taken by those Math rock bands. Lately I been a fan of math rock and the whole odd ryhtm and tuning. I must say it is one of the best genre's out there in this dimension we live in. It is fucking hyped. Like this band. I know this band has released 2 full lengths "Another round won't get us down" which was released in 2006 and also released a self titled in 2011. Im not a big fan of the self titled has a bit more of a different tune that there first full length. Another round wont get us down has a tappy happy guitar rythm. I fucking love it. It isn't my favorite instrumental math rock twinkly band. But sure is one I listen to often. The self titled the guitars has distortion and less twinkly noodly. I perfer the first full length over the s/t thats just me, though I have both on my ipod. It's good shit to hear when you trip out and what not, it even brings a positive vibe within you.

El Spectre

Wow, my birthday was fun. I slept over my buddy's house me and a few good friends all we did was get high and hot boxed the whole trailer house. I was fucking stoned. We all slept in the same bed but once we got up again in the morning we got high again. I still feel it a little. El Spectre is a punk/screamo band. I am not no informed by them but I do know of there "2010 demo" which is called Dream States its a short 7 song EP most songs are less than a minute long. They also have 2 songs that are from a compilation entitled "Thats Punk" same guy who did a half assed re press of the pine's self titled cd-r. Since then this band hasn't put out any material. I am not sure if there broken up or in haitus. I have a burned live DVD set of this band playing with MNWA and Innards under a basement. It's pretty sick. I love the screams and the guitar work. I lately been listening to the 9 songs often I don't know why. Maybe my high mind has been craving this band. I knew the band when they released the 2 compilation tracks. Which was in late summer or early fall? Somewhere in between I believe. I am sure many of you dudes know of this band. But those who don't this demo reminds me of SOmewhat of the Reptillian's full health mixed with echoish guitars few songs are twinklish with an echo and the screaming is alike a crossover of DEERS! and Innards I don't know I'm trying to use some imagination. I also posted all the Comp tracks since I was too lazy plus theres some nice bands on the comp for you to check.
