So this is a post about my band. Here is the story I used to jam with Antonio and Orlando back in the fall 2010 when we were in a band called The be happy kids. We would play at my old college until they had to close down the whole doing shows at a campus. Since then we all parted ways and would talk at some occasions of catching up with life. Antonio went on to play for Horror movies while Orlando went on to drum for I drive. As for myself I slowoy began working on a few bands myself. About a few weeks ago I guess we all agreed for a jam session. We ended up getting Jeff who was also on I drive. We began playing at my garage and well Diana Lara began. We were going for a less agressive Braid-esque/100 words for snow-esque twinkle form. Past friday we recorded our first 3 songs. We did make more but didnt had much opportunity to record them yet. We took 6 hours for these 3 songs. Saturday morning I spent mixing them. Yesterday we did our first show at my house playing all of the 5 songs we have so far. 2 of them will be recorded for summer. And well now we are a band. Diana Lara was a old friend of mine which has the same similar story as How I met your mother only as a high school version. As for the ending, it didnt end quiet happy. So I guess that little influence influenced me to call it this name. Don't know. Anyway, we do have about 3 more shows before summer. One is taking place down San Pedro at a garage, along with another set at my house and we are possibly opening up for a new diy in house venue in Torrance. If you like The kossabone red/Braid/100 words for snow you might like us. We also planned on a EP for next year since it may take time to do the whole writing songs process. For now we have a 3 song demo up. Physical copies will be made soon that will include the 2 other songs.

More updates
Sadly, I been too busy to make any posts. Doesnt mean I am going to randomly abandon this. I have a ton of posts to catch up with. Well I now go to el camino college and ny first week there has gone by. I have also released 2 releases for my solo project sepia//memory which is a 3 track EP and a single of my old song "Ive loved you for so long" re-mastered plus a new instrumental version which will be on a near future split. I am currently working on another instrumental 2 guitar project by the name Miharu Hirano I am barely on the works of a 4 song spring demo also to add Ask for answers is on a 5 track EP so as you can see I have tight schedule to do any posts. I will do my best to post stuff on bands. For today I will post my solo project EP. This EP is much much better than Stay home for Winter. The quality is better since I am now using my tascam I got for my 19th birthday I finally figured how it works. So heres the bandcamp link you can download my single and EP for free. I did put that project on a break but I have future plans to release a split and a second full length by the end of this year. As for Miharu Hirano I have a ton of ideas so thats likely not going to die as soon as I release these 4 songs. As for ask for answers we just got back together and were working on a EP soon to be released this spring.

New years: Oh yeah..
Well its gonna be new years and 2013 is over. I honestly I am not sure what I am going to miss until months pass by. A few good memory of mine were when I went to the Growing up is dumb fest in the summer. That was fun. Also my last semester at Long Beach City College, which wasnt so stressful at all. Also when I discovered Japanese bands and labels. That was cool. Also me getting alot of music crap. That was awesome. Also thanks Tim (Bass of The Spirit of versailles/The Hareste/ Examination of the..) for the records. I gained more skills on the guitar that was dope. New friends I made a few I lost. Also me pet/house sitting, it was fun being stoned and stuff I sure will remnisce all these things. Its too bad we cant look back in the years but simply move forward and just forget the past. Not everything about the past are bad things. They can be awesome things also. Starting tomorrow I shall start on a post, I am posting a few stuff I sent on my email and also messaged on my last.fm account those shall be the 2 posts for tomorrow if anyone's actually reading this. I do plan on obtaining more vinyl for 2014 I already have about 11 records in mind. So I may leave the CD game for a while (I still need to get a few stuff on cd as well) I shall start a short video reviews on all this crap I own. 2014 should be a decent year, I do have plans on starting a twinkly/mathy/hardcore screamo band soon. Anyways Happy New Years and dont get too fucked up. You dont want tomorrow morning to be shitty.

Updates
Well I been lazy due to holidays and not just that but I have a lot to catch up with. First things first, I finally registered for the new college 2014 spring semester at the new college I am now attending to. 4 classes on 4 days Mondays-Thursdays. So its likely Ill at least post either once or twice every 2 weeks but I shall try to make it up if I have free time on some rare stuff that isnt on the internet. Also Christmas passed by and I got a good amount of records (about 7 records in total) which most were old rare shit not everyone owns. I also want to thank Tim (Bassist for The spirit of versailles/The Hareste/Examination of the...) for sending me them records on The Spirit of versailles and The Hareste's 7", you fucking rock bro. You made my year. And also I want to thank the dude who I bought Ghost towns/Lautrec 7" off of on Storenvy for adding an extra freebie 7" on Perfect future's 3 song 7". I am new to the band and after listening I really got into it. Thanks again. I also got myself an Ipod Classic. I can finally add every band I know on that thing without stressing over space, feels good to add bands on there without converting the songs to shittier quality. So I been on the ipod for the past days throwing all the shit from high school and even a little bit from middle school and all the shit I now know. It is awesome. If you havent seen my youtube account I threw out a top 30 2013 list of good stuff bands released this year. I noticed most were new comer releases and a few bands from last year. So thats something that is also awesome. I have no plans today til later tonight (it's 2:30 right now) so I guess I can cat nap it right now for about 3 hours. Hope you all a bomb few days left for 2013 and have it better for 2014. I am only saying this because I may or may not post something on Monday. But if I am not busy then I may do a good 2 posts.

Sepia//memory- Stay home for Winter
its Crimbus and oddly I got 7 records. which is cool. Anyways, this is actually my solo freestyle sing/talk American football-Esque/Kolya-Esque project. A month ago I put out my debut's 10 song length. The reason I made this length well I really had to let go of the personal shit that went down in summer 2012. I had it all curled up inside me so I freestyle on all these songs and it actually came out pretty decent. Before putting out Stay home I did had a 2 song single out which was still the same sing/talk style but less filled with emotions. I also didn't put much effort anyways. But as for Stay home. This length really got to me and even a few friends had the same gloomy roller coaster vibe of my experience. I was pretty amazed anyone actually liked it. I thought everyone would be disappointed but I was proved wrong. Anyways. I am working on new material related to Stay home for Winter and it was really nice to let all my emotions out on this stuff. Felt good, I am usually the kind of person that doesnt like/know how to express how they feel. These 10 songs did. Anyways, if you always imagined how Kolya's early vocals would sound next to American football Sepia//Memory is the right thing for you to listen and cry to. I really put my heart out and serious manner into these songs.
