Post/Pre Ursa Theodorus

Someone close to this band sent me some stuff from Ursa that was never released or released but never mentioned. Yeah kinda wierd. I dont like rejecting requests from people especially on the sort of tunes I look into but anyway these are some of the stuff Ursa did when they were as a band before Ursa and after I believe. It isnt that band and I quiet digged it alot. So if your into the whole Ursa thing. Check this out. Swedes was pre Ursa while the rest is post Ursa.

Future sandwich (repress)

So I got a email from one of the dudes from them, roaringtwenties on about Future sandwich repress cd which will also be on tape. Hearing this got me stoked but I already own Future sandwich. So I checked the bandcamp out and it also includes the tracks from Vagina Monologues but backwards played, ehh I did wanted to hear them in normal play since the songs from that EP are freaking awesome. Well since I am still waiting on a few more releases and checking the requests I am getting on my email they will all be posted here so if you emailed me dont worry I will check and post it on my blog. Anyway, if you didnt get a chance to get Future sandwich like I did, here's your last chance. I know this is 2008 stuff but this may also go up on my top 2013 album/record list. One of the first few math rock bands I discovered for myself.

Onsa

Back again with those rare really good post today. Maybe a few of you guys didnt expect. Anyways. Yep, I came across Onsa while youtubing "Japanese Emo Bands" I came across this band with Onsa along some Japanese words and PV at the end. It turned out the songs name is entitled Silence. And my god I loved it so hard I searched everywhere and no luck. My pc's DNS server wasnt responding so I couldnt check til today. And I found Onsa's entire discography at a Japanese Forum site called Otonomai. Freakin' awesome! So I sat down last night and heard everything both demos, there 3 full lengths and 2 of the singles. I adore the bands guitar tunes. Its so fucking good. It has a lot of the twinkly like influence although some songs like Silence reminds me much more of bands like Thursday and Moneen, nonetheless this band ia increadible. They blew my mind. All there releases are A grade perfect. Too bad the band broke up either in 2008 or 2009 and started somewhere in 2002 or 2003. I finally uploaded there entire discography and I am proud to say I was the first to do this on a blogspot since I saw no other blog mentioning them what so ever. Anyway, if you digged Climb the mind then this band is much better, yes I said it. Better. Check these tunes. There rare to come across too. There somewhat similar to some really emo, twinkly-ish jazzy riffs. Most notes are played in clean amps. But its worth checking into. All song titles are put into english words.

New years - Sky Swallow Me Whole

Yeah I know Chug Life did it but I want to post it also. A band I discovered on Chugs blog. And I ended up liking it. This band took about a year to release there debut 9 song length. Which is quiet a while. No demo no nothin' from what I know since the band never mentioned it. I believe it has members of Age Sixteen, yeah you know the one influenced by Suis La Lune. Anyway, I checked these songs and there worth mentioning on here although I havent checked if anyone checks up this blog. I sometimes feel like no one does. But if you do thanks. Woah I went off topic. The band has its own twinkly emo moments and somewhat 90's sound emo moments. Regardless there jams are pretty gloomy but in a good way. If you havent checked up on this band. Check that length. Its very good and worth going on my top album list of 2013. For a debut length thats pretty increadible in my book. Ill now go back to my nap... zzzz...

Lobby Boxer

So right now I am listen to this bands 3 song debut ep entitled Teddy. And I have actually made my mind to add this on my blog and share to you all. I am guessing one of the members who is also on one of the facebook groups I am in entitled Twinkle daddies. I check anything thats posted on the groups that is new and I havent heard of. So this is one of the 3 bands I came across today as new new. I wanted to add this one first. Yes its 3 songs and its a free download. I cant describe how they sound but its pretty good emo shit for your ears. The second track stoled the whole ep although all 3 songs are very good. The quality is amazing. Its good that is all I can say. So check it and download it. They won a fan today for sure and that is me.

Teen/Ragers

I randomly came across this math rock/noodly twinkly/indie emo band when someone on one of the facebook groups I am in posted them up. Once I checked there bandcamp I realized these guys are pretty new barely releasing a debut 7 song EP entitled Rick Neagan. And my god its good. It reminds me of Them, roaringtwenties on some parts of the guitars. Very random twinkly like. The band also has a live demo they recorded when they played with Native. The band hasnt made any physical copies yet but I do hope they make some soon so I can buy one. The band is very twinkly indie emo like. You know what that means. Its good shit.

Small steps

New band of the day, Small steps recently released there debut EP tape entitled Puzzlejar which they remind me of Calculator and The Reptilian smashed into one. Pretty awesome right? Yes indeed. They have also done a 4 song demo which sounds totally different from Puzzlejar but I am still more of a fan on there new sound. Besides this going on my top list I do hope itll someday be released on a vinyl. So if you like Calculator and The Reptilian this may be something to look into. The band not to long ago went on tour too bad they didnt come to California, I hope they do some day. Anyway there bandcamp has the free downloads to Puzzlejar and there Whoops. Demo. Go and buy there tape as well.
