Algernon Cadwallader

Since there hasn't been any of the new bands making releases right now, oopps the band Tricot just released there 10 song debut THE today. Album is expensive and as for itunes I prefer a physical copy. So for now let us speak of Algernon since I been wanting to do a post on these guys. Algernon was the happier version of American football. And for those who don't know (although by now you should) they are those midwetern twinkly bands. I kinda don't feel like explaining to much about them since I am lazy right now and its 9:50 AM to be exact while typing this, they were fucking cool. They released a 5 song demo 7"/tape, a 6 song EP entitled Fun, 2 full lengths one entitled Some kind of Cadwallader and the other Parrot flies, they appeared on a 4 way split with Boysandsex, 1994! and Snowing with there song Na na na, and were also on some tour demo which not many know of (I also included that song on the discography. And Algernon's unreleased s/t 7" both songs were later re-recorded and added on Algernon's debut full length. Yep that's all they sadly made. This band was at the end of my high school years within late 2009 so I know the band for quite a while although I wasn't there when they started. I do know members of this band such as the vocals/bass went on to the band Stable boys which doesn't have the same concept of twinkly noodly guitars like Algernon but it is still good. So here ya have it. Algernon's entire discography.

Algernon's Demo (It is missing the song Shirt oddly)
