Tiny Lungs

Ohh look hey... Finally a GOOD band from Long Beach. Most bands in Long Beach are shit no offense "punkers", hot head thrashers, and Ska (if that's even around anymore)... Anyway, done being a douche on this post. One of my cool hippy friends Jesus lives on the East side of Long beach where the Downtown district is at and Shorline village and all that shit knows some members of this band, he also wanted me to post them on my blog; It be an honor to so I did as you can see. It took me a while to find this band I eventually did through mountain man records (cool label check it) since I was trying to look for A wild pack of Canaries (Also a rare good band from Long Beach) apperantly Tiny lungs was on the label so I checked there band camp and heard there first EP. I fucking enjoyed there EP but noticed there first EP was sold out and there were no links to download there EP. SO I had to rip them through bandcamp (don't ask how I did that). They remind me of a shoegaze punk indie band familiar sounding to Sore Eyelids with more of a indie punk attitude like Summer Vacation. So far the band has released an self titled EP in CDr format, another EP entitled II and a 2 song single 7". 12 song. I am looking forward for more good shit, I haven't heard of them playing in my town (I mean City) but hopefully they do sometime, I would love to fucking go. Summer is coming, So get your music together becuase this music is perfect beach weather to get drunk at the beach. And also Summer Vacation xD. I posted the 3 releases in one file.

So far discography (To date I hope)
*Self Titled EP CDr
*II EP CD
*The Devil Who Painted the Wagon Red/Made Up War Stories single 7"

Sleep Patterns

Well, Sleep patterns remind me much of a old sound of The Reptilian's combination of We Have Become EP and Boys Life EP with some Chaotic added to it. This band impressed me by the way they played there 8 only songs. They did released an 7 song EP entitled "Parmi Les Rois" I hate how this band eventually broke up after this EP, but don't forget they did 8 songs meaning one of the songs called "Slum lord" was suppose to be on a compilation but never happened and was just a unreleased track. "Feeny" and "Revolutions"; Well I would say are the most outstanding tracks of the EP (Don't get me wrong I love all the songs) When I like a band I ususally have everything from that band on my Ipod I am not those type of people who like certain songs that kid shit. But I have to say "Revolutions" definetly was a big one for the EP. I tried searching to buy this EP but had no luck :'/.. If you are fans of bands like The Reptilian, this is another band to look up for. Well I posted the EP and the Slum Lord track together on mediafire. I had to ask someone to give me the track on last.fm I belive one of the members did (found it oddly it was on a google document rather than on some sort of link) anyway make sure to check this dudes songs. Rips fucking sexy.

Climb the mind

Very fast post beofre I forget, I am posting my first Japanese indie math rock band on here. They have a familiar sound to American football if any of the new kids on the block know of them, I am certainly most of us who's been on the job listening to real emo for quite a while knows who AF is. Anyway, this band came to my attention and I had to find any crap of them somehow. They have released a CD-R 3 song Demo (Which is not on this link), an EP entitled "Connected to the instant shutter release EP", a full length entitled "Denaturization" and a second full entitled "Tenon" yep pretty much it I found a discography I found on the first two full lengths and EP, I tried finding this demo but no luck. Why didn't these fuckers posted them online or have a bandcamp it annoys me. This band is very talented that even caught my attention. Very passionate playing and emotional, I don't know what he sings but I am damn sure its some pretty sick ass lyrics. Well anyways..

Shitty blog

Just wanted you guys to let you know this blog is shit, even more shittier than mine its called Solid Little Rock Jams. The person who runs the blog gives shitty ass album reviews. Boo it.

At the Drive-In

I shouldn't even make a post of these foo's but then I really digged them back in my high school years. I noticed every album ATDI made, they would always change there sound, It made me believe ATDI was just a compilation of bands but til I got the internet and and checked, they were actually a band. I had a MP3 cd of all the songs these dudes made and all albums. I actually digged every album except one which was the split with sunshine, I don't know what was on their minds when they made this split, they literally tried copying sunshine who just makes shitty noisecapes or some shit. It really didn't sound like the real ATDI in my opinion yet it was a very popular split. ATDI did about a two 7"s, 2 EP's, 3 full lengths and a compilation of there "Greatest" hits along with some b sides and unreleased shit. And that split I dislike. Well I don't have much to say of these guys besides the fact ATDI is The Mars Volta now. Like most fans who believe "Relationship of Command" was their most outstanding I believe there first full length "Acrobati Tenement" was there best then I would say In/Casino/Out, then El Gran Orgo EP and Relationship of Command.

Hell paso 7" 1994
Alfaro Vive, Carajo! 7" 1995
Acrobatic Tenement 1996
El Gran Orgo EP 1997
In/Casino/Out 1998
Vaya EP 1999
Relationship Of Command 2000
This Station Is Non-Operational 2005

MNWA

Welp, here in the Kali, Long Beach it is raining and thundering and listening to Boy George's song "Time (clock of the heart)" fits the mood. Very nice song by the way. I got into MNWA "мища" (meesha or mishka) right when they did the two splits one which is a 5 way split with pansori, colorchromatic, DEERS!and animal lover and another split with Oppenheimer Limit. I downloaded the "So Far Discographie" first, I then saw that Bear Records were selling a limited 50 copies of the so far discographie for $5.00 so I bought it. I comes with the basement demos which are four songs, Not for ears 3" cdr, those two splits, and lady sans the blues 7" I believe???. The cd is just a regular cdr nothing fancy of it or anything and comes in a orange booklet I suppose with the cover art and song titles in the back. This is a violent skramz band up the ass; I dig there whole shit, they don't play to impress you, you might say they sound like shit but you know what? they don't care the lead singer will still hop around the whole set screaming and shouting cause he is cool like that. I find perfection in this band. I hate high quality music it bores my ears, loud, fast, pissed, and emotional is what rings my ears and fucks them up (I am sure I am going to become deaf when I get old). Well since they ran out of the "so far discographie I will post them on here along with a compilation of all the splits they done so far. I have heard of a Split 5”/tape with Te Lloraria un Puto Rio and a Split 7” with Dawntreader along with a full length entitled "Summergirls"

Rue Morgue

I found out this band was short lived, didn't even last a year since they started in 2000 and ended in November 2000. They did there s/t in CDr's and about 100 were made said by the dude who runs the Iowa Hardcore blogspot. Yep, 8 songs were made by this band. Welp. Just wanted to share this emotive hardcore band with you guys
