Alta- Places

Man, I have been fucking flipping balls on the radiation Long Beach has in the beach. Ive been noticing that many large bunkers or I would say vaults in parts of the world are being made. It kinda scares me but I have a major feeling that the ozone layer that protects us humans from the nasty fires of the sun is being destroyed. The earthquake that fucked up Japan with that nuclear site and all the chemical spill in the ocean actually came down here to Cali Long Beach and unfortunatly it fucking has some bad radiation in the water though no one has fucking told us or give a fuck of the endangerment of our shitty land. The water looks like a piece of turd that threw up in the water. I believe some low key shit is happening right now many of us don't know. Back to the music post. Alta (One of my actual favorite bands of today) recently released a 7 song length entitled places. It is a major impact for summer. Probably best release I heard coming out this summer. I just heard it on there bandcamp and it fucking blew me away. I want to take there first EP and combine it with that split and that compilation track and put it as all in one together. What do you get? 15 fucking amazing songs to listen to while your on spice or fucking salvia, even high or drunk or on ecstasy. It is truly an inspiring length or EP I suppose. I mean if you guys don't know they just released this, it is a definetly check this motha fucking shit out. It rocked and cammed on my socks. I had to upload it on mediafire, Happened to be the first as well. the bandcamp download is much of a larger file and contains a video live set of the songs introspection I and II being played at a basement if you guys want to check that shit out. I only put the 7 tracks on the file since I don't like downloading large files. If none of you don't know Alta (Which you guys should by now since last Alta post) there fucking amazing, it isn't the hottest DIY band out there according to many other grwat DIY bands. But it is far one of the many that caught my eye for me to fucking say, uhh there fucking awesome and caught my motherfucking eye.

Patterns Make Sunrise

So back to the 90's section of this blog, in the mid 90's this band existed to only release this 7" (Some say its untitled others say its a self titled 7") they did 4 songs. K records who also released Lync's first and only full length and there compilation LP of unreleased songs, etc. (K records is a motherfucking awesome label by the way a bunch of indie/emo bands. Check it) Well I am not informed on any info of this band, but I can tell you this... That there awesome and you should like download them. If you like Kolya, Lync, Allure, etc most of the 90's emo bands I have on my blog. I will assure you will love this.

Sore Eyelids

Man, saturday night I had this organic weed from a dispensery store and it was called spice. I basically thought it was regular weed. once I took 3 hits of this drug substance I did not feel high as in matter of fact I felt more like I was on fucking salvia for the first time. I realized the change, I sort of felt drunk in some way and very very light headed. I sorta spaced out while my friend kept giving me negative comments on that getting high and drinking is bad (mother fucker you offered me a beer and spice you piece of turd fuck) My friend Paulina drove me downtown then we headed to wal mart, we talked while walking down those streets it really felt nice no lie. I really liked the vibe, once i was dropped off home I had a major headache that I had never had a really bad migrane til that day. Though shes one of my friends friend and I am not that close to her as a matter of fact I never got to hang out with her but only say hi when I would see her back in high school now that shes in cal state and im in lbcc we sorta talk more often, I been trying to get her close to me. I may feel somewhat affection towards her. Maybe the fact that I need a real women who is not under 18 though I am a year older than her and we have the same birthday June 29 (Fucking wierd). Henning from Suis La Lune, also did this project band The Pine influence band Sore Eyelids (Which The Pine has a song called sore eyelids. The band did a self titled EP in 2009 I believe then we never heard of anything coming from this band til 2011 of a song called I wish I could believe in you. in 2012 they did 3 cover songs which 2 of the songs are actually nice and the other is ehh okay in my opinion. Sore eyelids kinda brings that late 80's/90's wave to my ears with there shoegaze and emo lyrics. I won't lie it is pretty addicting. I can't really compare it to the pine, since the vocals are more high pitch and uses different tunning than Sore eyelids which has a deeper vocal singing style. Im really happy Sore eyelids did a 10 song self titled this year. I am upset out of the 10 songs 7 are brand new. I dont think they shouldve re-recorded 3 of the songs that were on the self titled EP though its just my opinion. Anyways. There very cool and I am hoping for a second full length maybe next year. I uploaded the cover songs to mediafire since fucking no one has done that. enjoy :)

Slint

Slint is one of the earliest post-hardcore, math rock, emoish band from 1986 the band did 3 releases about 17 just like the band Saetia. There first release is Tweez which is a nice classic to me but there second release spiderland is far more of a classic in my opinion even one of the songs from Spiderland "Good Morning, Captain" was featured in the movie Kids (By the way its a fucking epic mid 90's film about teenagers from new york engaging to sex, drugs, alcohol, and sadly aids.) The band broke up in 1994. They lastly released a 2 song single 10"/CD the 2 songs were unreleased songs that were going to be on a 12" after the release of tweez but never happened. Im happy I came across this band last year I believe. They did a reunion in 2007 but it was impossible for to even go since it was in a different state. I am a stoner and enjoy shit that sounds like this. You kids should check it out. Lately I also been on Slint's balls listening to Spiderland getting high on pills (which isn't normally what I do, but fuck it) I love the guitar dynamics and odd tune of the guitars. It isn't your typical green day cliche band. You can also hear where Kolya got there influence from as well.

Lautrec

Lautrec was a fucking sexy awesome 4 piece jazzy/Screamo/punk band, the band did lasted a while to make more than 13 songs but sadly did 13 songs. They did a discography entitled 8 songs which features all the splits they did a Native/Lautrec/Mans/Lion Of The North 4 way split CD, Lautrec/The Reptilian/Boy Problems/Osceola Split CD, and Ghost Towns/Lautrec Split 7" the 8 songs come with another set of 2 songs. I am not sure if the songs Free refills and Modern technology were on another split which I can't remember if they are or not. They also released a 3 song self titled 7" which I didn't listen to until they released there discography tape. Which also features 2 unlreleased songs the band lasted from 2008-2010 I believe. 2 years and 13 songs. Members went of to Lord snow and some other fucking band I don't remember. There a very heavy influence band to me. I definetly learned all the 8 songs. I am sure many of you know this band already, but if you havent you are late in the game baby meaning what you can do is download there 13 track discography. I remember hearing this band in there Lautrec/The Reptilian/Boy Problems/Osceola Split CD back in 2009. Its fucking dope shit. Check it

Diary of the sun soundtrack

I been influenced by many things in life, one is the shit that revolves around my life... Drugs. Yeah drugs. And I don't mean like meth, coke and shit. But the kind of drugs that go brain melting and psychedelics like Ecstasy, Acid, Shrooms, Marijuana, LSD, DMT, Xanax, etc. So I been working on making an independent DIY film entitled "Diary of the Sun". Well the story sets in between the months of October all through late December 2008. I specifically picked that year because I was in high school during those years. From the help of my cousin who is in film school will help me processing this film. It's a pretty short movie that will be about an hour and 25 minutes. I have been writting on the screenplay and should be filmed by spring 2014. I have a soundtrack for it which is the best part of the movie. It is a non profit film I always been wanting to do for a quite long while that I even have dreamed of watching this film with my eyes.

Plot
The story starts of with a teenager (Who is the protogonist in the film and is also the Anti-Hero in the film but as well innocent) The film starts off with the protogonist in the park at night smoking a cigarette looking beat up and looks at the floor which bodies are laying on the floor then sits on the bench. The protogonist wakes up one morning and gets a phone call from a girl who is in a crush with him he then meets with her and a few of his friends and drinks. His friends slowly brings him into the world of psychedelic drugs, the protogonist then hallucinates for a good while on the psychedelics. Him and his friends then make DMT and starts selling it for cheaper. Making money quickly and easily they did not suspect other drug dealers were losing profit because of it. The drug dealers then want to make truce but them keeping 80 percent of what he is making; the protogonist refuses and stabs to death the dealer. The protogonist then realizes what he did and dispose of the body with the help of his friends. Knowing what is going to happen next the protogonist gets friends to work for him and takes off to the small penthouse they all made in a trailer park. Heavily guarded a big shoot out occurs the protogonist and a few friends escape though dealing with the lost of there few friends during the shooting while on ecstasy they roam the streets looking for a hiding place. The next day the protogonist and his friends then go to the drug dealers penthouse and mostly killing a few of the dealers and stealing a lot of there drugs the protogonist then calls the atogonist to meet him at Tanaka Park, he then calls the girl who is in a crush with him and asks her out and tells her that she should go with him to Rancho Cucamonga she accepts and tells her to pack her things that they will leave tomorrow. Knowing that he is risking his life and the life of his friends his friends accept to fight the dealers along his side and with the money will split and go there own path. While they wait at the park the atogonist randmly ambushes the protogonist and his friends. Though struggle to both sides start killing each other with knifes, brass knuckles and other melee weapons. The protogonist and atogonist fights to the death. The protogonist injured from stab wounds the atogonist pulls out a gun but shoots one of his friends the protogonist gouges his eyes out few of the protogonist friends are cold knocked out the protogonist lights his cigarette and sits on the bench. Badly injured he walks to his girlfriends house and lays by the front porch of her house and looks up at the sun rising from dawn.

Effects and style
Each song will set off the mood most songs will be playing during its important parts of the film. In the important parts of the film the screen color will either go black and white or sepia depending what the characters talk about and what drug they are on. If the characters talk of an old time they had the color screen then will change to black and white while if they are on drugs the setting color will go to a gloomish sepia color. The film will have a late 80's/early 90's screen color scheme just to give it more effect of its realism on the setting plot of the movie and its characters. I acutally been working on this film since the fall of 2009 and had different plots though similar til I finally wrote this one. There may be a sequel to it and if there is it will be entitled "Still Life With Candle"

Soundtrack
I believe the best part is the soundtrack I picked a specific soundtrack of this film. Most bands that will be on the soundtrack are 90's non profit bands, I am aiming on a 90's style type of independent film. It took me a while to pick these tracks and thought which ones should be on. The genre of the soundtrack is (of course) Emotive hardcore. I just think it will fit the whole setting of the film that revolves around violence teenagers and drugs. Its 14 songs I choosed. The songs are in order of play to the film

Kolya- 1999 Demo Tape

Well I did not fucking know Kolya even had a demo tape. The demo is HOT. It has 5 tracks. 2 of the songs are The story becomes the vehicle and Conversations and smokescreens but in the demo version its called Conversations and logic. Both sound different from there single 7". The demo comes with 3 other songs that didn't came out. 2 are instrumentals which are beautiful and one is a sing talk song. I been up all night listening to this demo and fell asleep to it. I dreamed that I was walking by a gas station in a busy street and I look at the sky and the sky looks sorta dark purple blue. I tripped out. This demo sorta mellowed my night as if I took ecstasy and Im feeling sort of content with life. This is new to me since only one blog has this demo but needs a password, I hate passwords so I re-uploaded the demo. I had a feeeling I had something missing from this band. So I am guessing this band only made 17 songs in total and not 14 like everything thinks. Well enjoy this Demo because it is a really really rare one.
