Now that I have an online course you will see and hear a lot more from here. But that won't be for long not til November I got big plans around there. Well here is the 90's softcore emo band. I am now switching to the 90's. This band started around 1994-1998 I think I am not to sure. The band went on releasing there first Risk 7" which has more of a hardcore punk influence with some mellowish breakdowns, they then released another 3 track 7" entitled I love... which was has more of a slower romantic like feel too it (this is where they adapt to this style) They then released there first and only full length Hide here forever (I literally had sex while this full length played, I even made her cry because of how "romantic" it was. It is a great fucking album. They literally busted a A+ nut on my ear. So soft. and beautiful. I love the vocals. Though my favorite tracks of the album are the last 2 tracks on this record "Knots on a counting rope" and "A sudden interest to nature". This shit shouldve won an award of how fucking epic this record is. So my big question is. Where the fuck was everyone when it came out. The band is from Los Angeles. And did a great album that it played in college radio. So what the flying shit? When the internet became more popular it is when this band got a bit more known although not to much. But for us who enjoy the 90's DIY we sure did research and came across this band. Me an example the very first band I got into was The Spirit of versailles. So how did I ended up listening to this band? or I wrote haikus about cannibalism in your yearbook, or kolya? Every band is hooked up to one another it just takes a while to come across bands. Its wierd to know that Bands like Usurp Synapse, Jeromes Dream, Saetia, Reversal of man were all hooked up. This is how I found these bands while those other bands know other bands which those other bands know other other bands and I can keep going on like this. My point is. It takes a while to come across great music whether is alive or dead you just need to troll around just like I did and we should thank that since I found this band.

12/2011 Demo tape
Im like almost a year late on this. Well I actually own a copy of this tape PLUS a test press version of the tape limited to 5 luckly I got number 4. I believe I posted this on my last post of this band and took pictures of it. Well the tape features 8 new tracks which are actually titled by the dates they were recorded which was around from December 2011 and 2012 I believe and theres 3 re recorded tracks of there songs Warmth, As pedlums rust and Heavy hearts. The tape as a demo is at its best. Though this isnt the last release by this band though it actually "died" around that time. Nolan did a 3 track EP entitled Antiquity or something like that which has 3 re recorded songs that sound soo much cooler I do know Heavy hearts and warmth is on there. But I havent been to much revolved around it to hear it and analyze it yet. Though my first quick listen to it sounded badass. Well here it is. I uploaded myself. I think this tape is literally a dollar now. When I got it it was like 3 or 4. You can buy them here. Its a dollar. That is the cheapest you can ever find along side when Bear records had Colorchromatic "Tenets" CD for a dollar (out of stock forever?). So just pay the man a dollar and pick up this tape

Back to my favorite Hardcore DIY label Plastic Smile Records and my Alliance Nolan. I'm glad to know his label is doing far fucking cool with the tapes, CD's in plastic sleeves (turns me the hell on when bands do them that way), limited vinyls, etc; My label has went to shit so I am pretty much done with it for a good while plus my CD hardrive doesn't work; so that a shit bummer on my CDr part. And as for tapes I can manage that but no one really buys tapes from me. Bad luck huh? Anyway Nolan has seriously released some real good shit for his DIY band. He loves what he does and I certainly fucking do too. Here's a little sampler of his upcoming release. Its 3 tracks. I don't know how many there will be but yeah. PSR has moved to a blogspot (don't know why, I get confused) Lately I havent boughten anything from PSR but once I get that dough my first place to shop is to pick up some of this stuff. The guy is a genius in music on my opinion. It is a great example of today's true DIY. So I know he doesn't fuck around neither. Because mother fuckers like him know its DIY or DIE! You can check TTAD's bandcamp and har the EP and Noises from the basement. Buy merch here and The truth about dreaming's blogspot, I hate tumblr and that twitter bullshit. I am glad he made a blogspot.

Barkus, Sly, and The Golden Egg
I remember going around last.fm and trolling and this band came around and I remember downloading a 7" from them which were the same songs from the winter tour EP only that had more of a live set feel too it. Well this band will fucking kick you in the fucking ass hard. It is a mixture of hardcore riffs with some screamoish/punk vocal attitude and experimental to it. The band quite lived enough to make 12 songs though 21 recordings. They did a demo, winter tour EP, and im guessing a 7" that isn't mentioned anywhere on the internet. It probably didn't even come out to tell you the truth, a split with zwounds which I could not find any information of the split and some other songs that were in there "Past Collections" (Discography) The band kept mentioning that they were going to release this past collection in CDr. But since then I havent heard of them mentioning it anymore or anywhere else. It probably nenever happened though it became a free download on bandcamp. To tell you the truth whenever I hear there Past Collection its like if im watching a live set in good quality. It sounds like the band took one take of each songs with no mixing or any of that shit. One take and no fuck ups. I did not hear any fuck ups at any moment of any song. These guys are some fucking real pro's they aren't wasting time jerking off. Shit even I fuck up but these guys don't fuck around when they play. Ryan vox/guitarist of barkus, sly went on to play for MOTHS and I will say that MOTHS has that barkus, sly style its almost as if MOTHS is barkus, sly only with more experimental tone to each song. I wouldve bought there discography if they ever released it which they probably did but im not too sure of that. Soo they started in 2006 and ended in 2009 right when I fucking heard them. The band couldve done more than just 12 songs within the 3 years of existence I believe. To sum it all up there fucking 1. speedy, 2. don't jerk off each other or fucked around, 3. Fucking head smashing

American Football
No this doesn't mean I will also post Mineral, I cant listen to that band anymore. Well I remember hearing this band around early 2009 it brings back the times I would ditch highschool and go to Cerritos mall. And also a buddy of mine Diego's house. Good times. Well This band did a EP and full length. I think they did 3 unreleased tracks. Apperantly I have 2 of them. One is an acoustic and one is an instrumental track. Well I am sure many of you already know American Football. Those who don't what the cock, you been missing out. A really slow emo band who Mike Kinsella (Cap'n Jazz) was in this band Ohhh yeah Cap'n Jazz people. Unlike Cap'n Jazz who were more of a tappy, happy band AF is more of a slower type. Though the band started in 1997 and broke up in 2000. There self titled 3 song EP came out in 1998 and there self titled full length was released in 1998. Polyvinyl Records are still selling these albums on CD and 12" vinyl. So yeah you guys should get them. They aren't too expensive for some classic releases. You can buy them here. As for the unreleased tracks. I found them on limewire long long ago.

Damezumari
Well I do remember checking this band out on that Somplace to hide/Damezumari/Steeples split. First 2 tracks I heard was Spazziest ever and Gravity is choice. I even learned how to play Gravity is a choice when I heard it. This band existed from 2004-2009 I believe the band did about 7 releases. There coulve been 8 but there supposely last release Blood Meridian 7" was never released. They also released about 6 unreleased songs that didn't come out on Compilations as intended or because they weren't satisfied with the songs. Not to many people know the existence of Damezumari. What makes this band powerful is the lyrics. There pretty fucking good. "Wherever I sit I die in exile From the life I never had The life of the body. Effects less than obvious And decidedly wrong Imaginary worlds breathe and stand And take a life of their own
"- Normality is Just Something You Are. There song lyrics are fucking good. I have tried to get a few friends hooked up on this band. But didnt really quite got hooked up on the vocals like I did. Apperantly The lead vocalist/Guitarist sent me a message through facebook on the last 4 unreleased rough demos they recorded in September 2009. Those songs arent from the last 7" they were suppose to make, my guess is these tracks were just rough demos of some kind for fun. I have also posted these tracks on the file below to download along with every complete release they did. My favorite releases must be the first 3 CDr demos they did, Something about them are pretty fucking cool. Even the artwork design are fucking cool, despite the awesome bands name. What got me interested hearing this band is there bands name. Its pretty fucking sexy if you ask me. I heard of a last show they did but from what I heard was that not to manny people went to see these guys one last time. Thats fucking bullshit. The band also went on to move to San diego I believe and release some stuff there.
First song I ever heard by this band
The band did 3 demo CDr's. Angelus Novus contains some tracks that were on No Hugging= No Learning Demo and also 4 new songs from Angelus. The politics of lonely coints 3 new tracks which one of them Gravity is a choice was later apperead in there 3 way split with Someplace to hide and Steeples.

The politics of lonely (/30 copies)May 2005

The band then finally released there first 10" entitled "hitherandthithering waters of" in May 2006. Its a side a side b vinyl of consisting 6 tracks that were fresh
hitherandthithering waters of 10" (/330 copies)May 2006

Damezumari went on to release there first split in CD format and did a split with Someplace to hide and Steeples. This is where I first heard Damezumari (well took a listen to them from this release. I heard of them back in summer 2010. They released 6 tracks which Gravity is a choice came on this split but a newer version.
Someplace to hide/Damezumari/Steeples Split CD (/500)October 2005

After the release of the 3 way split. The band did another split with Team fire charlie. 4 new jams came out on this split. Though it was recorded in May 2006-December 2006, this split was out in May 2007. It did took them about a long while for the release of this split. I am not so sure why. Maybe a small break during this time and focused on writting material
Damezumari/Fire team charlie split 12" (/490)May 2007

hope inscribed on handbills 7" was the last 7" they released it included 4 new songs, this is actually one of my favorite 7"s by this band. The 7" is pretty narrow shirt, but a good one. Title comes from a description of the opening to the plot of steinbeck's 'the grapes of wrath' - i have no idea whether the phrase appears in the actual book. it's meant to apply both to my own decision to move out west to california, from oklahoma, (the same journey of countless okies in the book's historical era) and to the genre of the zine, the individual instances of which can be both incredibly meaningful and entirely generic and cliche, usually at the same time. it's hard not to get cynical because of the overload of so many people writing in what is supposed to be a deeply personal and intimate form.
hope inscribed on handbills 7" (/500)December 2009

Whatever happened to there last 7"? well it never came out or was ever recorded. Though us fans do hope for the band to finish this last 7" one day. Though on there site it says the 7" was recorded in September 2009 Which I do not see it anywhere on the internet and is rather more mentioned than released.
Well here are all the releases this band did. Including there rough September 2009 demos. I sometimes believe these demos are from Blood Meridian but with different name titled. I wish to believe these were just rough demos that have nothing to do with the last 7". So that they can release this 7", it is mentioned its on 12" but I don't know what kind of band would release 4 tracks on a 12" vinyl; Might as well release it as a full length while your at it. The band also did 6 unreleased tracks that were suppose to come out on some of these releases and some compilations but never happened so therefore they are unreleased with no specific release. They did a Portraits of past cover song "Something less than intended" which I think they did a neat job on the cover song while the other 5 were originals but had there reasons why there unreleased.
You can check there web page, it has lyrics, meanings, info on there releases, etc. It is interesting to know what this band achieved.
Damezumnari web page
Since they posted all there songs for free might as well I shouldve make a mediafire file of all the songs they did so that you wont have to download one track one at a time. Plus the file I uploaded has that September 2009 rough demos which I believe they are the Blood Meridian tracks
Forever they will live on broken up or not. Damezumari to me is like a band that will fly and lead on messaging our future children and so forth. This band will forever live on in my soul. The band finally did the last tour I believe in 2010 heres the whole footage I believe of there whole tour

James Dean
I just had class today, I went to my psychology class and to be honest It looks like those classes where I want to get high before I go and smoke a whole and trip in the class. Well james dean is a emo/punk/??? band from Australia I dont know when they started but I believe they broke up in 2007. They left 2 self titled releases. There James Dean CDr and a self titled 7". The self titled CDR contains 5 tracks, one track from the CDR came out on the s/t 7" which is "into the hospital" Some songs like "Turn this iron handle" which is my favorite song by them have a mix blend of emo/ska ish/reggae. I love that little cute stoner sound these dudes play. But they only left 8 songs and a music video :/. But its a rad awesome band I enjoy as well. I believe there was a band called the let go which was a pre James dean. I heard of an EP they did and some unreleased tape which sounds alike james dean but less stoner sound to it (whatever) Watch the music video and hear there awesome tune. I posted the mediafire file with both releases on there. I can't say much since I don't know much of this band. I do know there rating is : F for fucking sexy.
