So it is almost end of the year and I am waiting on a counselor at my college campus. I'd want to point out the blogspot won't be active til January. So it'll be about 2-3 weeks with no posting. But next year there will be some amazing shit to post. Also keep an eye out on Sepia//Memory. Like the facebook page and stuff I have some releases to be soon released and I guess Re-released??? But yeah, this blogspot isnt dead yet but I'll likely be working on some s//m and mainly work. I want to have more time to record the new s//m songs and I might be doing something else if it comes to it. This year 26 releases suprised me to be my favorite. Old bands from past year or year before also new bands that came out this year who just impressed me so well. Youll probably get a video on these releases. My 2012 video got deleted so I will have to do that again.

All my wishes were thrown down a well and should die there
I found this band last night but I felt like posting them today, p.e I might not post until January maybe last days of December. This band is from San Diego and are right hands of Flowers taped to pens although Flowers is more of a modern emo band many band wagons would hop on, this one still holds the 90's early 00's tradition of emo jams. Which is why I just fucking loved this so bad. So they just released their 8 song debut this month (I haven't even downloaded yet) will soon. So if you like screamo bands with the 90's/early 00's sound you will not be disappointed. Im off to get up since its 7:36 and I have a long day ahead of me.

Small Steps- Death Became The Light
I don't think I ever mentioned this one? I thought I did. Anyway, Small Steps broke up this year after this full release. The band put out 2 ep's a set of demos as "Spider King" and this release. I actually enjoy this release as well, much different from the Puzzlejar ep but still has a fresh sound. The songs are harder, shorter and faster. This may be put on tape which I am waiting on so I can get one. It's sad see this band break up after not much recognition at all and little time of being an active band. Well I guess that's what happens to extremely good bands. It's barely morning and I am waiting on a tone of band merch and shit of that nature.

Zoo books/Water Polo Split
It has been raining like crazy today, I even heard the rain slamming against my window really hard, shit was a trip. Today is a trip cause Zoo books/Water polo split just came out. Zoo books features 2 new songs and a re-recorded song off the demo. Its pretty cool to see them highly active. Water Polo in the other side did 2 new songs slightly different than the EP (A tiny disappointed nonetheless okay)

Water Polo
So my semester just about ended. So this is what went down today, morning I woked up as usual watching Its always sunny in Philly then I headed to my film class to get my grade and take my final for speech. Well it was an interesting day because my pot dealer gave me 2 dimes and well me and 3 other classmates decided to smoke one of the dimes. One of them had a car so we chilled and smoked about 2 blunts I believe then we headed back at 12:30 and we had more for 2 session so we smoked more and I headed to my class very stoned at 2 since the last session didn't end til 1:45 during the time smoking those last 2 sessions we were talking about bullshit and how this other chick in our class was suppose to smoke with one of the guys who was smoking with me but he kept telling me that she wanted to get closer to me cause she knows I smoke with him (He is a older dude) It was kinda wierd cause we got deep on the conversation cause it was odd how she just wanted to smoke once she saw me but I highly doubt it was because of me since I had invited her once and I guess I got the "Never reply to the text" message. So I am still convinced it is not cause of me plus that guy left at 1:50 and I had class at 2 and didn't get out until 3 and she had gotten out until 12:20something, I don't know I am confused or maybe she was fucking around. I walked to my speech class and a classmate asked me if I smoked because I smelled like weed. When he brought this subject and began laughing I grew a little paranoid because I am reserved and I told him I am okay and fine it's not like it's something new. So we had to do our group presentations and I was high and I didn't know what to do so I sorta was tripping out but I caught along and did well. Finally we took our final and I got my grade for my last speech which was a B- as for my film class I got a C+. As I got home I started working on my Astronomy class (I have a 36% which is an F and a D is 40%) I did extra credit worth 9% of my grade along with a quiz, 2 hw packets, 2 extra credit hw packets and my final test in with the hopes of bumping my grade to a C- or even a D Ill be okay with. Likely chances of a D are high, if I did well on this final I may even get a low C and with the extra hw packets who knows. So I found out Zoo books is releasing a split tape with this band called Water polo this Friday (Who started this year) I am very excited to hear the 3-4 songs Zoo books made, I am excited to see Zoo books being very active this year releasing 3 releases this year. Well let us speak of Water polo, they are more of a indie rock band than a The Reptilian-esque like Zoo books. They aren't bad and the bands recent discography is pretty darn good. I like the work on the guitar strummings and stuff. I hope you all check it out.

Palmkite- 2011
Ey yo, I am back. I am still trying to transfer my music back to my laptop. In the meantime here is Palmkite's new jams. They got back which I am excited although I am a little disappointed at the fact its not a debut but a second ep. Other than that I still haven't heard these due to me still moving shit to my new laptop but you guys can check this shit out. This week is my last week of class and well I am excited for the 2014 list this year. The band has put out a self titled ep and a demo.

Fourth Wanderers
I'm back and Fourth Wanderers released their debut 8 song length they also have an EP (I forgot to post here). The band reminds me of bands like Eldritch Anisette and Everyone asked about you. Vocals are so cute and lovable. Well it is raining and I am halfway done on my persuasive speech so I gotta go.

The Hareste
Friday fucking morning bitches, I am dry cause my pot dealer is a dickhead and well all I have is beer. Anyway, someone did a bandcamp of The Hareste's releases (7", ep and 2 comp tracks) they are as well from the same area as The Spirit of Versailles and have the same style. The 2nd bassist of The spirit of versailles did the recording engineering on the 7". He also gave me a copy of the 7". We all love the real screamo stuff so don't sleep on this and download it. Now that I think about it I might have posted this before but these are better quality and if you want them in wav and what not.

Stable boys
It's Thursday morning right now, I am about to head to class and I am dry ass fuck (No weed) but I don't think I ever mentioned Stable boys. It shares members from Algernon, Boyfriends and Snowing I believe. So yeaaahhh that is some fucking hype huh? This band died shortly. They released a 2 song tape and a EP entitled Attitudes that is on cassette and 7". I might pick up the 7" sometime soon although the 7" isn't fancy and it's plain white. They also released a song on a compilation and that is a wrap for them. Well I am out for the day. Peace.

Jazz Hands
Well I did in fact recieved some tapes I had ordered from Messy life records (Small steps Puzzlejar and Jazz Hands The Party EP) I ended up getting a free CD copy as well. Well Jazz hands started as a one or two man project in late 2009 I believe. By 2010 Jazz hands was a full band and released an EP called The Party and that is to it. They also released a 2 song demo in 2009 which are 2 early versions of The Party EP. I'm sure ya'll know Jazz Hands, if you don't they are very emo/mathy and what not. You can still buy tape and CD copies at Messy life records along with Small steps.
Oswald
So today is Friday and yeah, I had planned on a date (again) sadly this time I no longer feel like doing that for 3 main reasons. 1, I am too lazy. 2, I dont want to spend money on a crappy movie. 3, I just don't feel like I have any interest with the chick anymore and also I am wrapped with other important stuff. Anyways, I checked this band out and they sound decent. Obviously they have that new wave generic type of guitars every silly 16 year old calls "twinkle" (Sounds pretty fucking stupid I know) but this band is not so bad. They recently did a 2 song ep and last year they did their debut 4 track ep. So for a band that's been around a while they haven't released much yet. You all will dig them since I did. Welp, time to get some work done and I expect my Innards Tracing 12"+Lautrec's Discography tape, Small Steps Puzzlejar and Jazz Hands The Party tapes too.

We have become/Boys' life cassette
Its finally close to Winter and outside is already cold, finished smoking dro a few hours ago and I just got my mail. I got some cool shit (The Truth About Dreaming Split 7"s w/ Anne Hero & Stories about their short distance & Empire State Games 100 Years of baseball 7") not only that but I finally recieved the tape I dreamed about The Reptilian's We Have Become/Boys' life. It has the bands first 2 EP's compiled on this tape and well its badass and also brings back some cool memories in high school. I remember getting wild up to both bands EP's at the time. This is truly a classic you just need to have on tape. Since its limited make sure to grab one since I highly doubt a repress will ever be made. I am still hoping for a Boy Problems Discography tape one day. Tape is in Blue and Black. You can order one here http://countyourluckystars.bigcartel.com/product/the-reptilian-we-have-become-boys-life-cassette-tape

Shapes like Dinosaurs
So I am back with another post its Friday and I don't have much shit to do besides smoke weed. I had plans to go on a date with this chick that likes me but I canceled them because I am not 16 to go on a date to the park and do nothing. I rather go on a beer run date or something that involves doing somehing. Anyways, I thought I mentioned this band here but I guess I havent? Shapes like dinosaurs is a cool math rock/indie rock band that has released 2 ep's went on haitus, released some unreleased stuff and are now working on a debut full length as I type. When I mentioned math rock/indie rock that shouldve done the trick for you to download the bands releases. Most of the members are now in a band called Light Skits which sounds exactly like Shapes just slightly less mathy on Light Skits EP from last year, it was still good though. Alright kids I am about to head out and blow dro.

Sepia//Memory updates
If you are not aware yet I do play in a band called Sepia//Memory (Started as a acoustic project thing in late summer 2013)
In January 2013 it became a band thing and did a 2 song single where I did handmade CD sleeves for it (Around 25 copies I did, these ran out within a day) so I decided to record another set of 3 songs under "The Meta EP" this was digital only. So after the EP I was getting the hang of recording music on my own and mixing it. Sometime April 2013 I had laser ee surgery and about 2 weeks after I recorded a song (Which is now on a compilation called xperimental mixtape) I am now working around 5 more songs these 5 songs will be compiled with the last 6 songs as a debut full length which I will be done sometime mid December of this year.
Crush
While I wait on my speech class I shall make a quick post. Im still waiting on my Innards Tracing LP along with Toasted Plastics Tee and Off cloud Nine stuff. Today I also ordered a couple of Kyeo Speaks Zines and that Matsuri Whales EP (so it can look neat next to my Matsuri/DEERS! split) well Crush shares members from Calculator (the vocalist Jeff from the band pretty much) they sorta remind me of Nik's band Never young. I'll just sum it up to that. So if you dig Never Young (Which you should already know them by now) you'll love this bands debut EP.

Sightblinder
Goodmorning (Its 9 AM here) well last night I finally recieved my stuff I ordered from Kyeo Speaks (Sneeze Grandma In Trenches & NoTongue Body+Mind) I also got some freebies which included a Kyeo Speaks Zine (Now I have 2), Kyeo Speaks stickers along with a Skeletal lighting one, and 2 tapes one being Kali Mixtape 2 and Sightblinder's Demo tape. Well today I will talk about sightblinder. The band has a high pitch scream vocals that reminds me of Justin's in Alta basically. The songs are around seconds to a minute long and its pretty gnarly. So I recommend you to check it.

Sneeze
So right now I am in speech class (should start in a minute) so while you read this I'll likely save the fldraft and continue once I am out of class. As for myself, I am excited for Kyeo Speaks sending me Sneeze Grandma in trenches 7" and Notongue's 7". I should also be getting Innards Tracing LP and Toastic plastics tour shirt. I also ordered Off cloud nine's new release The truth about dreaming/Short stories about their distance along with Anne Hero/TTAD split. I also happen to have a date for friday with this cute chick. Lets talk about this band, I am sure you are all aware the band is a half/half on ex members of L'Antietam and Ape Up. So when I found out Sneeze was barely a band they gave out free dl links for the preview of the 7" I liked it so much but took me a while to get it until now. Anyways the band mixes it up with some muffled up guitar/Grundgey/Indie rock wave type of vibes its the sort of band you want them to play at your house for a party or some 420 shit. The band has also done 2 LP's (One this year called Wilt, which Ill do a seperate post for) the bands debut LP I'm going to kill myself is insanely good as well. The band still holds strong to its sound. You can download both releases here.

Short stories about their distance
Im in fucking bed and I will likely sleep after posting this up. So word is this band is doing 2 splits this year one with the homies band The Truth About Dreaming (which will be a 7" released in the next 2 days, I shall buy it) and another split with World at a glance (I am not sure if this split will have a physical release) the band has also done a demo tape which I believe the original vocalist was a guy. Both sides of the band are pretty good. While the demo has a early 00's emo/screamo vibe floating, the new stuff sorta reminds of Mahria. The female vocals are very whiny, I really love it. Anyways, yeah check this dope ass band. Im hoping for a debut length next year.

Our daily fix- S/T
So today I am back home, I am pretty baked this morning. I actually finally woked up to the fall weather. Its cloud, cold, windy and its drizzling, I am really happy about it. Last night I found out this band has finally out up there self titled full length for free. I think this band died this year, so I think this is just a posthumous sort of release. If you didnt check em on the last post about them these dudes sorta bust Colossal/Sharks keep moving/Minus the bear sort of stuff. I can't wait to go home to check this out. Ill probably get more stoned since I have about a bag of weed on me. I need a cat nap.

New Rosewell
So I am stoked for Friday (Tomorrow which I'll likely not make a post, maybe) anyways this band has a member of Loudcat (Ohhh yes) well its not so bad. From what I can tell this band did 6 songs and sounds a little different than Loudcat. But it is still good. The band did 2 EP's (3 songs each) its totally worth checking to. So if ya have nothing to jam to today check this.

Stepfriends
So I am here in bed playing mass effect 2. So I heard this band and the debut full length was a "wow" for me. I honestly think this is going to be my jam for the fall. This is likely going to be on my top 5 albums for 2014. I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much and you know what that means. Its something you must check out. It's a nee recent band and you'll get the kicks for (anticipated for the bands future length releases) this is something I'll listen to while I smoke bowls this Friday. Such bands like Innards, The Reptilian, and Leer being my favorite active bands this band may go on my list as well on there.

Odradek
So right now I just got home from school and I started eating burritos now I took a shit and I feel better. One of my friends tagged me on a post and there was a link to this band from Brazil so I checked it, to start off the band is new and released a 4 track extended play so I took a listen. The band reminds me of The Fall Of Troy/Tera Melos. That being said go download the EP. As for myself I will probably try to keep myself awake since I am sleepy.

Lion House
Sorry for the wait, I been pretty busy with school and other crap stuff. Anyway, update on myself. I been buying a shitload of vinyl. And I also bought me that Joker assisted switchblade pocket knife I had my old one I bought in 2011 but I lost it. Well lets talk about this band. Lion house is those new modern wave screamo/mathy/emo/post hardcore bands. The screams turn into shouty Cap'n jazz screams at times and the instrumentation of the band would be like any of the smalltime new wave bands (Its not a bad thing) the band recently did there debut EP called Drancy and its pretty good. That being said I recommend this to you all. P.s Ill likely be down Belmont shore starting next week til maybe late December so I will have more posts for you guys. Maybe even video posts, who knows.

Dogs on acid
Well I am finally back to school, since last Monday. And it's okay. I guess... Anyways this band has everyone from Algernon and Nate from Snowing. So this is rad. It explores rather more of a indie rock vibe than the past mathy rock indie stuff. So far as a 2 song self titled ep. Its pretty good and its the word passing on right now. I am excited for future releases so I need to keep myself updated to this band now

Lost in Bazaar
I'm stoked in working at this job and well I have less time for this sadly. But Ill try to post as much as I can. Anyway, I was stoned today listening to Noisy sins of the insect and found out some members along with members of other cool bands made this band which sounds super cool. Anyways if your into that real screamo/skramz stuff its something looking into. Im not sure if this is the bands full discography but has the first ep followed with 2 full lengths. It has that Noisy sins and Stevan Flipovic sound.

Invalído
Man... Them days pass by quick. Anyways heres a spanish Emo band. They are very good and have been active for a good while. Last year they released a full length. So far theh have done a EP and 3 lengths. Pretty good stuff. All the stuff on their bandcamp is for free. I can't say they sound similar to any other band but yeah they are good. You'll dig it. Maybe similar to Mineral and Sunny day real estate.

Tiny moving parts
Summer is almost over for me, I go back to class some time in mid August and I gotta look for a new job. My buddy Christian just came to visit some relatives down Torrance (Very close by me) so I do hope to hang out with him tomorrow (We had plans for today but Ill sadly be busy with some house work) in the meantime Ill post this band. Well everyone right now is hyped on this band along with the bands new split 7" with Old gray.. Im not familiar with the new wave pop emo screamo stuff (Not really my thing) but I do enjoy this bands second release "Moving to Antarctica" for some strange reason the bands first length is not on the bandcamp (you can check it as Sophies floorboard) but I will give this new wave band credit for those releases. The bands 3rd full length wasn't really my thing (Vocals sound similar to La Dispute and its a bad thing) also hearing the split 7" with Old gray didn't do anything for me (possibly because I am not to into the new stuff) in my opinion TMP would be a average band Ill jam to here and there. You guys may like em. Moving to Antarctica really was what this band was all about in my opinion.

Foals
Ive been the pretty chill vibe guy lately. And so I wanted to share a link someone posted on 4share. So I will admit from right now I didnt uploaded this on my 4shared account. If you dont know Foals. Foals is a pretty darn good upbeat dance indie alternative math rock from England. These dudes have released several b-sides, singles and even remixes at the early start of the band. The band then released a EP called Gold Gold Gold (You need to find that one since I am too lazy to upload it) but my favorite of all is the bands debut LP called "Antidotes" this 15 track album is so darn good from beginning to the end that will keep your head bobbing to the rhythm. Its good shit you'll enjoy for quiet a while. The band also released a second length called "Total Life Forever" which is okay slightly more slower but still has some rhythm in them enough to even get me going on. As for their recent Holy fire I didn't quiet get into that one. It doesn't have the foals sound I digged from Antidotes or even Total life forever (which is slightly disappointing as well on most songs) but in all seriousness check Antidotes.

MANS./Lion of the North
I want to talk about some old high school stuff. Well back in 2008 I think these 2 bands did a split which was going to be later on vinyl so the band released a CDr version for their tour since both bands went on tour (MANS. Went on tour with Men as trees) well both bands broke up after that there was never a vinyl release of this til now. A few months ago Kid Sister Everything did 300 copies of the split. 200 in burgundy and 100 in black. 35 test press exists. Well I got my copy today and my god it looks neat. Well although last year MANS. released a 2 song tape and played in a fest Lion of the North is still dead. Theres still copies of the split for 4 bucks on Kid sisters storenvy. In honor of the split I wanted to post this bands split.

TP/ST
I am drinking beer (and Jack Daniels) and last night Toasted plastic released a 4th ep (I was hoping a full length) well it has the same sound as June highs. So it sounds really really good. You can download it for free and there are pre orders for it also out of 100. Get one while you can.

Sand castles
Damn I am pretty tired. Here in Cali the weather has been pretty fair 77-79 degrees ever since summer started. It can be around 84-92 degrees even around 100 in some parts. Well here is Sand castles. I remember Sand castles when it was under Lights on Emendy around 2009. I thought this disappeared afterwards but I guess it continued as Sand castles. Sans castles has done 2 covers one being Algernon's Look down and Merchant ships Old grey. This bands early stuff (As Lights on Emendy) sounds like Merchant ships. So you might dig this

A Kolya post
Not much worth as in "new" but I wanted to mention this band. Just as a for shits and giggles. Well let me start off with a little story. During my early times of figuring out and finding out of music blogs Kolya and among a few others (Lync, Chune, Boys life, Empire state games) were the first bands I have found and listened to during my first listens of real emo. Kolya was one that just hit the spot on "What the fuck am I listening but I like it" I remember throwing Kolya's 4 songs off both 7"s and my parents and I went down somewhere to some Shakeys for a cousins daughter birthday (I dont remember where exact) and while heading there I heard this band, from there the band changed me in many different ways I do not see music the same as I did before (By the way this was in the fall of 2008 maybe around October 2008) well its been since then that this band hasn't been off my mind. Sure I have Empire state games s/t EP and Chune's physical discography (Burnt, Nine ways to sunday 10", Big hat no cattle) but Kolya was one I wasn't sure I'll ever own on physical due to its rare find I managed to track both down for about $54 bucks (Its not the most expensive vinly but the second most) and well I feel satisfied. If one band can describe my personality I would go with Kolya. Kolya's music is hard to explain. The instruments feel as a part of energy slowly building up while the Vocalist (Todd Giles) narrates the entire songs in such a calm manner that his voice never builds in yet the instruments being played in the background creates this energy that just gives you the vibe that you are whole. The vocals just never build in but the instruments create this beautiful cathartic vibe of content. Its one of the many things I'd never thought of ever enjoying in music making Kolya as far as one of the classic 90's that must be heard. It isn't something many bands pull off or even at this day. Iditarod's 7" (being the first release) the band is a 4 piece which you hear 2 guitars playing one being Tood Giles. The lyrics involved on the 2 pieces of poetry is so good. " The genius raped by the entrepeneur. The passerby by the opportunist. Is this what we've been reduced to" such a epic line. Although the band's first release is a 2 song 7" with no hopes of a longer length or a demo the band does put out a 5 song demo tape which was the last as a 4 piece band in 1999 the demo tape was recently put out in the internet a few years ago and the demo has 2 songs which were later put on kolya's second 7" and 3 songs that were never on anything else. 2 being instrumentals and a odd one called "Jet lagged" which as far from lyrics they are pretty wierd and even has a dark gloomy sound. In 2000 the band released the final.single which instead of 2 guitars it is just one which feels incomplete and as if a lead guitar is missing (other than that this 7" is truly amazing) after a year in 2001 the band did their debut and last release of 10 songs the LP was also released in cd (seems like ill have a chance to get the CD first rather than the LP) although on some songs the bands structure does focuses on some singing chorus but there are a good amount of songs that are narrative told instead of singing. Sadly that is all there is to the band. So about 19 songs were recorded 2 of them being re-recorded so it be 17 songs were done. And well I sorta feel like the band couldve done a few more although I am sorta satisfied with both 7"s. I do hope for the demo to be remastered and released on vinyl one day. That is all I can say. The band still lives on in me and it is far as one of the bands I enjoy the most and I hope other bands learn to play on how Kolya did it. If you haven't heard em I would suggest to download it off For Ivadell's if yoy want the better quality MP3's.

Mosey Jones
I was asked to post this band by a member and I been sleeping on anything thrown on my email so I figured to look back and stuff and I saw this band as a request. Well the band is a indie rock band from New York and has quiet few releases one being a new EP. So far everything sounded pretty good.. Good for me to throw it in my ipod. So yeah its good hippie indie stuff.
Antilles
So I finally turned 22 well it was yesterday and I got a bunch of stuff, records and shirts plus a belt from The truth about dreaming. As for shirts I got a The reptilian shirt, Snowing shirt and 2 Workaholics shirts. As for records I got a Allegory of the cave/Spectres split 7", MANS./Lion of the north split 7", Alta Places 12", Eeva s/t 7" and Kolya's Idtarod 7"+The story becomes the vehicle/Conversations and smokescreens 7" (Ohhh fuck yes I have them on near mint condition)
Antilles is a screamo/mathy band that started from 2007 and ended somewhere in 2011 or somewhere around there. The band released about 4 splits, a 12" self titled EP a 2 song single 7" entitled My empathy and a full length under Beholder, Destroyer (Which is badass) there isnt much to say than for you to really check this band out. Everything on their bandcamp is for free to download.

In Braille
Man, am I happy today. I recently bought some vinyl that I been wanting for years... Well honestly I never thought of owning the vinyl would be Kolya's first two 7"s. Yep pretty pricey but worth it. Anyway, someone reminded me this band so I figured I should post them. This band lasted from 2010-2012. Although about 5 songs were done in two years (Couldve done much more) the band did a 3 song Winter demo and 2 songs on a split tape Plastic smile records (Off cloud nine) did with Iwontstopwonderinguntilyoustopbreathing. The band released a final discography tape for the last show (Only sold on the show) but it isnt much of a missing out since the band did a bandcamp. The band has a gloomy emo/screamo vibe that reminds me the gloomy bands such as Noisy sins of the insect and The spirit of versailles.

Eeva
Ive been looking back bands I heard around 2010-2011 and I looked back to this one. This Russia band started since 2009 and have released a 7 song self titled ep and a 5 song self titled tour 7". I recently bought the last copy Bookhouse records had. The band blents post punk/math rock and emo which sounds good to me. Good enough for me to buy the 7", the band is working on a debut 12" LP. For a band thats been around 2009 they haven't done much or even played. You can download the s/t 7 song ep on the bands lastfm page for free.

Right hooks EP
I been pretty busy on gta V and yep... Also I haven't mixed .Elaine.'s Summer houses EP yet but will by the end of this week. Zoo Books recently finished on a 2 song EP under Right hooks. To be fair this reminds me of The Reptilian's Full health EP and Native's We delete; erase EP. It has the shouty The Reptilian like vocals even guitar lines but it also reminisces up to Native's past work. I was hoping for a longer extended play but I guess I can't ask for more but for this band to continue on to more releases in the future. It still leaves you wanting more from this band.

Plague of dandelions
So I am watching Orange is the new black and its alright so far. So this band is from my hometown and they saw my old post I left on last.fm and they posted everything on a bandcamp page. They were a post punky/indie band back in the day. They did a little bit of stuff in pretty shitty quality but the band is pretty cool.
Careless
I just finished drum tracking for my ling wolfs band EP and I am pretty stoked on how its coming so far. Anyways, I asked around to see if anyone wanted their bands to be on my blogspot. I got a few responds. Well this is another band. Simple band name, yet a pretty decent screamo band. I believe they have a LP coming soon, the new song these guys did sounds pretty good. Reminds me of some 2003 screamo band dunno why. Anyways I gave them a listen and well they are tight enough to be on here and for me to mention them. Some of the screams remind me of Moldar some parts also remind me of I create. Other times this band reminds me of Mesa Verde and Pianos become the teeth.

Speed walking with seamus
So I asked around to see if anyone wanted me to post their band on here and I got some request. So I will do them little by little starting off with band. It reminds me of some soundtrack that would play if Michael Cera was in that movie. I felt like saying that was enough to cause curiosity.

Memorials
Probably too fucking early anyone and I am likely going back to sleep. My buddy Jordan Reinhart used to play in this 3 piece emotive hardcore band, I believe they have a reunion show coming very soon. Well they only released a self titled EP. I heard it and I liked it. So if your into Reversal of man, Usurp Synapse and that stuff youll dig Memorials. I wished they had released a couple of more stuff but I guess that will do.

Our daily fix
I guess I am a little free for more posts. I did see the comments on Climb the mind and ill try to reupload that soon. I am also realizing this blogspot is about 2 years old I think. This started in early 2012 (Although I did ran "What's behind trees" during 2009-2010 I think) but so far I have gotten a lot of love for this blogspot and I like to thank you. Well someone threw this at me and I loved it marock jazzy and classy. I think the band broke up. They put out a 3 song ep and a tour demo of 2 songs. Some really really good flow stuff though. If you like Colossal, Minus thr bear stuff youll dig this too.

Yvette Young
I been working on .elaine.'s second length entitled Summer houses. So I may not post for about 2 weeks (Id say about 2 weeks) since I put my life back for this recording session. So far I have done all guitar parta for the album and all I got to say is that I am working harder. Well Yvette Young blows my guitar skills and anyone elses along the way she is good (and cute too) she recently put out a acoustic ep and I kinda want to get my hands on that canvas patch that comes with the CD so will see. Anyways its some solo acouatic mathy stuff, her voice is beautiful her guitar tune is simply breathless so my black heart dimmed a little inside after hearing this. Yours may too.
Shakusky
So I woked up damn proud knowing I am not a dad. Main reason is because I recently found out that a ex I dated back in 2011 and which we broke up in summer 2012 now has a kid. Well sucks to be her and lets me know I am not about that life.
Shakusky has some La Dispute moments although its not as over dramatic and cheesy as La Dispute. Yeah, its those modern bands but don't mind. The band recently put out some new length which I have not checked yet. But you maybe you should check it. I discovered this last month, so it's still very fresh to me.

Escher
Well I know its 1 am (If you live in California) well life has been treating me well since the last post. I found out I passed all my classes this semester (Not sure if I mentioned it) I also been sober on smoking weed although I may break that tomorrow. Also .elaine. doing a e.p. this summer so look into that later on here. What is is new.... Hmmm.. I bought a ton of records if you know my instagram or my facebook then youll see which oop stuff I bought.. Well Escher is a relaxing math rock band I found on the twinkle daddies music group. It sounds pretty cool so I thought I should mention them. It sounds like something I would listen to if I was in space with my eyes closed (I picture myself doing that at times) well its good stuff so if ya like math rock. This post is for you.

Lobby boxer EP
Am I stoked that summer is coming up, which means Ill be 22 next month which means Growing up is dumb fest will soon pop out. Which also means I will have a ton of vinyl. Which also means new bands will arrive and bands will have more releases soon. Well Lobby Boxer just released their 5 song self titled ep today. I actually bought a copy of the bands first EP "Teddy" I wasnt too satisfied on the ep because of the halfassed cover and stuff but it was good to know I have a physical copy. Well the 5 songs sound fresh so if youre up to it download it.

New Sepia//Memory
Since its 12:03 AM I cant sleep. Its close to summer and the birds chirp at night and sing since its hot. I believe we are closer to the sun. Well we all know my sing/chat talk project s//m well recently I turned it to a full band sound with drums and bass included. I took all good context from bands like The Van Pelt/Native nod/Moss Icon/Kolya/Slint and smashed it now as Sepia//Memory. In February I did released on my own a 2 song single which was recorded straight from my bedroom about a month later I did a 3 song ep under "The meta" so far people really digged these tunes. Well during eye surgery I couldnt play for a while but after 6 days later I ended recording a song specifically during the day of my laser eye surgery. This song is now known as Keratome PRK (Which should be featured on the upcoming kalifornia comp) I do plan on doing one more release which is another 2 song single. Next year I may start working on a full length. I havent worked much on it or done any planning. You can download the 6 songs for free. All songs were done in my room on my own this spring. I havent plan on any physical releases but in the near future I may compile all this and turn it into a compilation of 8 songs. I do have a few other songs saved on my tascam which I did not put out just a few untitled instrumental improvisations which I may end up including on this physical release if it will ever be released.

Rockets and Bluelights
So I figured to post this since I made a link for a guy who didnt have all the songs by this amazing band. Well the band released a demo tape along a 7" both were later added as a 8 song demo which I think they were only sold in shows. Well the band put out a Anthology (Which was a discography cdr) that also included a few unreleased songs that wasnt on the demo tape. In total they did 15 songs (That demo was a long one) well that settles that. The band has a Post rock instrumental feel with a few screams singings here and there, there actually really good. Which reminds me something off early Kidcrash with some post rock elements of structured songs. Its all I can say about them. Well download this since the original link is dead due to the blog being deleted a while ago. Share with yo friends.

7 Song Demo+I remember everything+Unreleased Compilation
So lately I been working on .elaine. again all by myself and I released a 7 Song demo which were just demonstrations I was able to do on my own as a experiment. I saw that I did good so I worked on a 10 song length under I remember everything. I believe this length was the whole concept of .elaine. which I felt satisfied and really happy. I felt like I released all my anger and emotions on those 10 songs afterwards I worked on a song. It was really diy for me. I did the drums on my own and the whole recording in my room. It felt really nice. Anyways afterwards, I was working on a summer EP but I ended up recording one song with 2 guitars and a bass which had much more of a twinkly like feel than the length and the 7 song demo. And recently I put .elaine. On haitus. Not sure when I will start but I can say I at least left a nice legacy behind .elaine.

Everyone goes to space- Demo
So I am drinking a beer and I am gonna exercise in a bit. Thanks to someone from the twinkle daddies group they posted this link. Well this band has done a ton of Algernon Cadwallader covers and they finally released a Demo which sounds close to AC. So if you like AC youll love this Brazillian band. This demo was released last month so expect more jams soon.

Guerilla Habits
So I was on facebook and someone mentioned a emo ska band? Well yes a emo ska band that is pretty decent. It has a ska vibe but majority a emo like vibe which for some reason it reminded me sorta of The Promise Ring (Kinda) well I looked everywhere and this is what I found on google drive which I re uploaded the file to mediafire. I was able to find the 5 song 2008 Demo which has a really good studio quality and feels more than just demonstrational songs. So yep, you should be curious by now so download it. Youll fucking like it. Well goodnight now.
D'wayne Gretzky
So there is no class for my history course that means I am sorta free all morning. I have a eye appointment thing today since I had laser eye surgery about a month ago.
Im not familiar with the band but some songs sound like something off The reptilian. My guess is this band was way too short lived. They released a crappy 2 song live demo and did 5 songs for a split and yeah thats about it, the split songs are very good and it seemed like this band had a lot of potential for future material. I guess we will never see that coming. This band rocks hard and you should download them. Thanks to the twinkle daddies group for showing me this. Someome from the group was in this band. The song that outstanded the most was "Where's my house Karl?" listen to that one first.
Coate
Its 6:07 a.m right now and I just woked up. I had a wierd dream Jupiter was heading towards us so it wasnt so fun sleeping and dreaming. Anyways last night before going to sleep I was listening to this and I digged it. They have put a 8 song length and a 2 song ep. Not sure if they are active since the ep was the last release and its been a while. The self titled length reminds me of a twinkly Strictly ballroom its very much slow paced while the EP sorta sounds like some Algernon-ish stuff. I perfer the length a bit more though. Anyways I needa get up and head to class soon.

LSP
Right now I am in class and I am feeling bummerish and sleepy. Since the last post I haven't been much busy. Just really out of it. Anyways I am in a facebook group called Twinkle daddies. Some people are cool and others suck at sarcasm and jokes. Anyways I was recommended to give all these bands a listen so this is one of them. All I know is that they are a band from the UK that have a twinkly emo/screamo vibe. So far they have put out 2 EP's which both are equally amazing. I don't have much info on them besides that. Ill keep on posting all of them daily. Its a handful so expect this blogspot to be more active.

Diana Lara
So this is a post about my band. Here is the story I used to jam with Antonio and Orlando back in the fall 2010 when we were in a band called The be happy kids. We would play at my old college until they had to close down the whole doing shows at a campus. Since then we all parted ways and would talk at some occasions of catching up with life. Antonio went on to play for Horror movies while Orlando went on to drum for I drive. As for myself I slowoy began working on a few bands myself. About a few weeks ago I guess we all agreed for a jam session. We ended up getting Jeff who was also on I drive. We began playing at my garage and well Diana Lara began. We were going for a less agressive Braid-esque/100 words for snow-esque twinkle form. Past friday we recorded our first 3 songs. We did make more but didnt had much opportunity to record them yet. We took 6 hours for these 3 songs. Saturday morning I spent mixing them. Yesterday we did our first show at my house playing all of the 5 songs we have so far. 2 of them will be recorded for summer. And well now we are a band. Diana Lara was a old friend of mine which has the same similar story as How I met your mother only as a high school version. As for the ending, it didnt end quiet happy. So I guess that little influence influenced me to call it this name. Don't know. Anyway, we do have about 3 more shows before summer. One is taking place down San Pedro at a garage, along with another set at my house and we are possibly opening up for a new diy in house venue in Torrance. If you like The kossabone red/Braid/100 words for snow you might like us. We also planned on a EP for next year since it may take time to do the whole writing songs process. For now we have a 3 song demo up. Physical copies will be made soon that will include the 2 other songs.

Zoo books
I know its been forever. But I think this one is very important. New news I had laser eye surgery not long ago and I got a bunch of new records and stuff. So who's Zoo books? A band that sounds like The Reptilian? Yes correct. This new band that sounds just like The Reptilian. We all know I fucking love The Reptilian. This band just started and released a 4 song demo. And it's fucking good. So check it. I guess I have more time now. So yes I will be posted.

More updates
Sadly, I been too busy to make any posts. Doesnt mean I am going to randomly abandon this. I have a ton of posts to catch up with. Well I now go to el camino college and ny first week there has gone by. I have also released 2 releases for my solo project sepia//memory which is a 3 track EP and a single of my old song "Ive loved you for so long" re-mastered plus a new instrumental version which will be on a near future split. I am currently working on another instrumental 2 guitar project by the name Miharu Hirano I am barely on the works of a 4 song spring demo also to add Ask for answers is on a 5 track EP so as you can see I have tight schedule to do any posts. I will do my best to post stuff on bands. For today I will post my solo project EP. This EP is much much better than Stay home for Winter. The quality is better since I am now using my tascam I got for my 19th birthday I finally figured how it works. So heres the bandcamp link you can download my single and EP for free. I did put that project on a break but I have future plans to release a split and a second full length by the end of this year. As for Miharu Hirano I have a ton of ideas so thats likely not going to die as soon as I release these 4 songs. As for ask for answers we just got back together and were working on a EP soon to be released this spring.
