The No-Gos

I actually found this band on the blogspot Desperate and Lonely, I said it many times. The guy who runs it knows his shit on the 90's more than I do. The No-Go's for an mid 90's late 90's band they had somewhat of that Dance-Punk music theme. I mean instead of Q and not U being credited to being one of the first I think this band should be credited for starting it. It also has that rawish emotive sound hiss playing in the background to the few songs they released. The band released a self titled 4 song tape, a split with 2 of there songs a song on a compilation entitled Hives need hearts (A benefit for CCNCV) and a single 7" with there song Young Ironist. The the 8 songs the band did are rad but I must give it to there self titled tape. It is the fucking groove box. Picture the emotive hardcore bands with some early Dance-Punk. The No=Gos appears in the scene.

Boyfriends

5 days gone and I am back with more good shit. Well I actually discovered this band in fall 2009. Since its such a memory i'd like to present them now. Well boyfriends has members of the band from Landcaster 1994!. Well they sound identically the same but a bit more smoother. Well Boyfriends released a 4 track 2009 demo, 3 tracks on a self titled 7" and 2 songs on a split 7" with boys&sex all in 2010 also a instrumental on a compilation. Since then nothing else has been brought out of these guys. Maybe they been busy again. Well if your looking for party jams heres one of them. Ima be partying to this on saturday.

NAH

Today wont be a usual rock genre band. I am going along with the hip hop beats so just tag along with me. About a year ago when the blog Chug Life mentioned NAH when the debut "Tape Fuck" was released I took a gasp of what NAH is. I mean I am not a huge fan of this til a while back. Hip hop beats are fucking gnarly. Well NAH records in a low fi which sounds like striaght coming from a garage (which I love the quality) and it isn't over produced. I mean I gave it a listen and I fucking enjoyed it. Maybe you should to? anyway heres the bandcamp. Sucks his shit was robbed from a train which he never got the rest of the songs that were going on another full length though only 5 of the songs were retrieved leaving me wondering "How many were there in total?" anyway check it yo.

Life in Vacuum

Now that I am done with this College semester, I still got shit to work up on. One is posting here alot more, 2 release Undercover hoe's EP under a different band name and re record a version of E.M.I.A.U.H, 3 drink and smoke more weed. Well since I am back here is another band I discovered a while ago in the early fall. Before my Fall semester started one of the last bands I glimpsed at was Life in Vacuum. They pretty much solve up most of the Fall semester music I listened to along with some other few ones within the semester. Well to sum it all up. This Canadian band from Quebec I believe have that At the Drive-In sound. Shit they even landed on my awesome list of albums of 2012 as nunmber 2. They released a full length this year entitled Rogue Sessions. It is fucking saweet. Vocals definetly remind me of some At the Drive-In influence along with some of the rhythm they play. You can judge for yourself. I am absolutely in love with this band at the moment. I like how there albums have a comic book like theme story. Like the release Commander Clark and Rogue Sessions I believe also. You can check there bandcamp
I remember downloading them for free at there bandcamp so I ended up posting these on mediafire.

Sailors Mouth

I actually got 2 of these cd's that look like vinyls back in fall 2011 along with tragic ends, and littlebunnyrabbit when those 3 were for free at Radical friends. Umm there isn't much to say but follows the surfish punk/indie wave of music. It's a short EP of 6 catchy ass fuck songs. I don't know whether the band disbanded after the release. I haven't heard anything of these dudes since I got that ep, even when I got it nothing was ever mentioned from them even on there last.fm page. No one posted a mediafire file of this ep neither. Kinda breaks my balls. So I am doing it instead since I own 2 copies of this cd. Well if you dig such bands as Summer Vacation and that whole indie punk attitude. Youll love this. I do hope this band is still active. I oddly get sad listening to these jams. I am not sure why maybe the tempo? Lyrics? Possibly both... I need to drink my face off now..

Life in Pictures

Since I haven't been here in a while I decieded to give you guys 3 posts instead of 2 or one. This band, I actually grew up listening to in my high school freshmen year. A old long time friend I known which we met in our 5th period class showed me Saosin and Life in pictures. He gave me a mix cdr (I still have it) and contained 2 songs from this band one from there full length "All my pirates share the grave" and from there EP "Red fall" I was so stoked listening to this band. At the time I didn't know what was mediafire or even megaupload (when it existed) until round late/early 2008/2009 I saw someone posting a discography on megaupload and downloaded that within a click of a heartbeat. I saw that the band only released a full length and a EP. Yep Very short lived I must say. But that doesnt mean they sucked. For a hardcore band. I fucking loved this stuff. To me at the time it was new since I was used to listening to Moneen and At the drive in alot in high school. A few years went by and forgot of them til I saw them on megaupload. Since megaupload no longer exist on the internet. The file has been deleted. So I now posted the discography on Mediafire. I know many of you who do know these guys has been waiting on this. It is really hard to find a file of these guys. This is one way of expressing my early high school year of my freshmen days well along with penknifelovelife, moneen, at the drive in, The kinison, sights and sounds, and dulce agonia. I mean this was back in early fall 2006. I knew nothing of real screamo or DIY or any of that shit. I wanted to post this as for a memory thats been going by for at least the past 6 years. Oddly my friends only had those 2 songs, they neither were able to find there other songs anywhere else. So this one is for them too. The band went to form some other major hardcore band which I dont remember the name of but I didin't like it at all so I am only sticking to this band only. Its also been said they did a 2001 demo but I likely doubt it for the fact its nowhere to be found on the internet.

First song I ever heard and that was on that mix cdr

The Littlest Viking

Welp. This is the first instrumental band I heard actually that got me into the whole instrumental math rock scene. As you can see this band means a lot. Releaseing an EP entitled "Mafia EP", a full length "Labor & Lust" in 12" LP and there newest 12" which is under as there "Self titled" It is fucking... Amazing... They did a great fucking job with that release of the self titled. There are some sing along songs as well, so that new length isn't instrumental as opposed to there "Labor & Lust". I been waiting on a release of theres for 2 years and about little as a month ago or almost 2 there self titled has been released. Now I am digging the new tunes waiting for a third full length. I know I ask too much but, but god damn. It is a good band. Great band man, great band. SO if your into the whole math rock instrumental or even indie/math rock singable this is for you. I mean I am not a big fan of how there self titled sounds but wow they are amazing on how to play tunes. So yeah do yourself a favor and get these. You can buy there self titled at there labels store Mountain Man Records as for a Christmas present. It's the perfect gift. Many don't know they had a EP as there first release. The 3 songs were later re-recorded onto there first full length "Labor & Lust" I made a mediafire file containing there full length and EP together to save time.

Our Sunday Affairs

I haved lagged again on posts here. I havent had an ani-virus til like today about 5 minutes ago I installed a free one. I am ready for the night to drink with some friends and have a kickass time with them. I remember going over this band on last.fm a vaery long time ago when this band actually barely began with there first split and there very first EP. I will admit I did not like it alot enough to have it on my ipod. About late fall early spring I heard there second EP "Transitions" and I pretty much digged it. Kinda reminded me of how American Football would sound if they were a little more hyped with some Midwest Pen Pals to it. The band was giving free shit within 24 hours around August 31 of this year. It was there newest EP "City Of Dogs" So since it was free I ordered one. They came to my mail til about 2 days ago on thursday and they also sent me there semi discography CD since many of us waited for that long. SO I heard the whole damn thing and it is really fucking good. It is only missing there 3 split songs oddly (they shouldve just been on there as well)

As you can see I haven't even opened my City of Dogs EP it also comes with 2 re-recorded songs one from the Emo Side Project Split and the other track "Defect on Juno" this is a pretty decent band that follows that midwest scene with the clean guitars and poppy punkish tune with some emo smashed to it. Great Job.

Secret Smoker

Yes I am finally back. All this waiting crap with Revolver Ocelot's new album coming up, and all of my Psychology homework and History of rock homework has collided together. Though I just got done with the history of rock crap I still need to work on my take home exam which is due on tuesday. I feel rushed and my hair is falling off. And I still cry at night whenever I listen to Interpol's song Obstacle 1 (just a joke) Anyways. This one is for by homies band Billy who is in Secret Smoker. Unlike many of today's bands that has a blend with today's generation (say what it is but we all know Loma Prieta has that new wave style). Secret Smoker still follows the path of a 90's sound emotive hardcore band. You know those bands such as Agna Moraine's Autobiography, Plunger, The Hal Al Shedad, Shotmaker and Across five aprils. There music still grows within that time. I will say that's pretty fucking cool. The band recently released there debut length "Terminal Architecture" under protagonist music. The covers look pretty groovy and I like the bands sound. I couldn't agree more with the bands excellence of style of playing. I heard many great bands that has came up with some great releases. This one goes on my liste of some good ass album of the year as well along with the others I have mentioned.

Show these guys some love and order there 12" at http://protagonistmusic.bigcartel.com/product/secret-smoker-terminal-architecture-vinyl-lp

They also have a soundcloud if anyone is interested to hear the jam and also a bandcamp

It's one of those bands you can say "well here is one of those rare bands who still play that 90's emo influence" even when I heard them I thought they were from 1996.

Pre order a copy for Winter cause this is the stuff you would want to hear as for the jingle all the freakin way

T̶O̶N̶G̶U̶E

I been extremely busy on stupid shit I wished I wasn't busy on like the new stuff for Revolver Ocelots new and first full length so that I can do more posts on here. I have a lot to catch up on, but there's that saying "A real man does shit he doesn't like doing". So let me start off with this post. One of the members of this band told me to post there first release EP on here. I was actually going to in early Spring but what the hey I'll do it now ^.^ since there new comers still. You know the scene in the bay area is pretty dope since this band is from Oakland. Many great bands are from there. I heard this band right when this EP came out one of the members posted on facebook. I checked it and holy fuck. I freakin loved this EP. I mean for a bands first release I will say the quality isn't no skramz demo that came from a garage. Its obvious these guys are taking this stuff seriously, I mean they should. Cause I dig this good stuff. And it hurt my feelings if they weren't and would lead me to depression and cry my little eyes out. If you mixed Moldar/John Cota/Calculator/Matsuri/Kidcrash you get this since it has that similarity sound. I still have the songs on my phone and bump to it at times. I really dig the shouty/screamy vocals. But what I dig the most is the rhythm of the band its pretty upbeat to me, almost like it wants to be twinklyish but busts some jazzy skramz tempos at some point. So it is definetly really good stuff to listen to. That I'd be intense just watching them live. Or even if im drinking with friends and I play this I be nooding my head. So for you Kali Sounds fans, and Kalifornia Mixtape. If you make another compilation. Be sure to add this band to the family as well. You can't miss them. I am stoked for the new recordings coming soon. So I know I cant miss that shit out. So peeps check these guys because they play fucking awesome. I am confused whether the band is called "T̶O̶N̶G̶U̶E" or "No Tongue" or "Tongue".... Yeah -.-

The Reptilian

Lately I been hooked up again to this exciting rare of a band. SImilar sounds to Alta's and Native's groovy rhythm I do remember listening to this band when they released Boys Life EP then they later released the 3 unreleased songs in which I thought they were to be on the Later Full Health 10". Sadly they didn't but its okay that release is cool too. When they released there digital EP "We Have Become" and once I heard it.. I was blown by the mixture sound of the band. Sorta reminded me of some Ska, punk, Raggae, experimental, indie type of form music. I fucking loved it. They are jams to get faded too. I still do til this day. I have actually ordered a copy of there Boys Life EP and Full health 10". THe band later progrssed to that twinkly screamoish sound which I still think its fucking cool. It sucks they never released the 3 live songs from there cassette which I ever hope they have studio recordings of these songs. It had that sound of the 3 unreleased songs. Well I do like this band a lot and there isn't much to be said by them but just a reminder post of how awesome they are.

first track From there first digital EP (Which was also on a 4 way split CD with Lautrec/Osceola/The reptilian and boy problems.

I hate myself

While checking blogs out I discovered many of the blogs that are more modern andpost more of the mainstream bands that are to be considered "Emo" and "Screamo" aren't in fact what they label themselves. I see those bands as a modern post hardcore band which are to be entitled "Mediocre" or "Okay" on my view. Many of you might say "Well, Who cares?" Well let me tell you something, I kinda care. I am tired of running into people who tell me oh yeah I like screamo and emo music. I get hyped right after telling me this bullshit and once they give me a list of these so called bands. I pebble of shit comes out my ass from the anger that has been created after listening to shit that isn't what its labeled on. I give them a few names which are the ones I posted on here. And they have no fucking clue. Yeah you call yourself a big fan of the genre, well let me tell you little fucks (to those who don't know) it gets kinda tired after while, I mean do your research to what the fuck you like. You cant like a genre and have no idea what the fuck it is. Thats a fucking load of seamen and puke. It makes those people look like a bunch of retards. It gives the real shit a band name since those bands who poses as "Emo" or "Screamo" take up most credit that shouldn't even be given to those shitty modern post rock bands. Well fuck. Here I am again. Well this is a small post. I reember my friend Julia giving me a mixed cdr with these "Emo Violence" bands 2 songs from I hate myself were on that CD. "Caught in the flood" and "Song 3" My personal favorite. Although I wasn't a big fan on the splits the band made. I was more into 4 songs and 2 songs and a few songs from 10 songs. Yeah the releases never had a album name. Well they didnt need to, just hearing the entire record will define you the name of the album "Sad fucking shit that will make you hate yourself" there it is. Well no. Not really. From there I ended up getting there other songs. But I think 2 songs 7" and for songs LP is personally my favorite releases by this band. But you never know you might like it all. For a band in the mid-late 90's this shit was fucking emotional hardcore. I believe bands like I hate myself is the real definition was "Emo" is. I bet people who were suicidal fucking killed themselves after listening to this shit. Because if I was at that stable point, this would give me a little push to literally kill myself. Its gloomy, raw, slugish-like, sad, angry shit. I am sure many of you o.g emo freaks know who this band is and might say. Why post thise if many have posted this band. Well same reason many of the bloggers posted this band, it opened my eyes and took me in to the emo reality since many of us were stuck in the matrix. By the way I am sorry if im rambling I took many bowl shots of weed and drank 5 red bulls.

Early Kidcrash

So a while ago I was looking up Kidcrash again just to see if anything is new with them til I remembered the band took a short break so I pretty much have everything since there last release was Naps, then Snacks, then Jokes and blah. Well I found out Kidcrash had other shit they never mentioned anywhere til some dude on last.fm uploaded the early kidcrash shit which took place around there release of "New Ruins" and that "I never had a date EP" there first release was a 10 song demo cdr in 2000, also along with a EP entitled "Dissect this hour" which has 6 songs which are okay quality it isnt so much stuido like quality but still nice. And also released a 8 song entitled "A fire in the Museum". Which sounds like a mixture of new ruins and I never had a date. Its cool to finally know this band had 3 other releases which is wierd because they took time in between new ruins and there EP but what blows is.......... Why the fuck didn't I know this by now? Why couldnt the band post this shit on there site since they had all the other releases there for free download why couldn't this be up there. I mean they cant be embaressed; they even had New ruins up there. Well fuck it I found out today. It kinda steams my balls to know ever since I knew this band in late sumer 2009 I never knew this band had these other 3 releases. I figured well they never had a demo and just came with new ruins all in the sudden. It is obvious most bands release a demo before going on to some length. Even the speed of sound in seawater had garage demos of Blue version which I couldn't really find anywhere except in Damiens tumblr well. If none of you know Kidcrash had 3 other releases well there here since I re uploaded them. If you guys knew well fuck man, say something. And if none of you know who Kidcrash is well there a Post hardcore/Experimental/Screamo/ DIY whatever band that has 3 sounds actually. While there first demo, new ruins, Dissect the hour EP, A fire in the museum has more of a indie/alternative sound while I never had a date is a between new ruins and there new coming sound. there 2006 demo the 3 splits they have with L'Antietam, Arse Moreira, and Coffin dancer along with Jokes they created much of a harder sound mixing post hardcore/math rock/screamo/experimental like stuff. To me Snacks and Naps sounds more like the same crossover I was speaking of like I never had a date theres more shouting than screaming although they have that mathy rock tune on there guitars with a sorta post rock into it. So yes this bands sound changes which reminds me of At The Drive-In. I like all there releases and it is a good example of how bands can change style and still be bad mother fuckers. I will go over the other half of Kidcrash on another post. Here is an example of what I mean

Bygones By-

During Summer 2012 I ended up listening to this band. Most likely because I was on youtube searching for instrumental math rock bands. I ended up on a video entitled my top 5 math rock bands and this band ended up being there. I liked it so I checked this LP and fuck its like going to 7/11 on shrooms (well to me) its one of those really wierd math rock bands not like Loose lips sink ships or The fall of troy but its a whole different segment of math rock. I was tripping out just listening to this entire 10 song LP I mean even the front cover is like "WTF" I mean its pretty fucking cool but it still confuses me. I was actually on party pills while listening to this while trying to play fallout 3 and New Vegas and I must say it was very very woah. But I must give this band (which has the guitarist member of Tera Melos) credit for just not being your typical everyday math rock band. Therefore you are now entitled to "stilllifewithcandle" meaning "It fucking rocks and you seamen heads must check this"

HA Yeah it is one of those "Where do I find this band?" nowhere unless you were around myspace at the time this band was active. The band left a bunch of shitty stained demos and splits. Actually the band didn't left much to be exact. It is a midwestern sound mixed with Screamo although from Pennsylvania. Kinda alike bands such as Merchant Ships and stuff like that. The band didn't lived up much to be heard a lot everywhere. Maybe some of you did but that doesn't mean it was all over the place like when Count your lucky stars released Merchant Ships For Cameron EP (Which I didn't liked one bit). I sometimes even think I am missing some songs but some guy on tumblr posted a discography of this band and I reuploaded it on mediafire so that theres 2 files of these floating around in case ones gets deleted.

I hardly know any info on this band pretty much

Nadsat Rebel

This was a hardcore punk band from the early 80's. You know whats shit? This is all they made.. Yeah. 5 fucking songs is what they left. They came in 3 compilations although its the same songs from the demo. I actually dig the echo vocals of this band. It sorta reminds me of Plunger's Demo tape in the early 90's but in a more raw way. Well there isn't anything else to be said by this band. Although I will state this demo was recorded in December 1983. So I am guessing this came out in early Spring of 1984 perhaps. It is obvious these tapes dont exist I mean look at the picture from the video. There pretty half assed and no creativity unlike many of todays non label bands who attempt to pimp there material out with color and stuff. But this is hardcore punk from the 80's its not like anyone gave a shit at that time. Even the tape seems so bootleg. Its like we all can make these for ourselves instead of buying them. But like I said. Hardcore punk at the time gave a million fucks on how the tape looked. They did printed out those lyrics thats for sure. The demo runs about 9 to 10 minutes like in the video. So I am hoping you dig this because this shit is nowhere to be found on mediafire. Both files on mediafire were deleted and no one has had the ball to re upload it. I found these songs on a blog but was wierd because you had to right click the track and click save audio as. I kinda felt stupid so I rather just upload them rather than link you to the blog. I don't know if the blog did it purposely because I was lost figuring out. "Okay, how the fuck do I get this because I really don't want to use youtube and rip the whole shit as a side A without the songs being seperated." Until I figured how. Well enjoy bro's and broads.

Demo tape (1983)

The Kossabone Red

Lately I have been listening to this on the buss to school and on my way back to school. A very similar Cap'N Jazz attitude although somewhat different on the guitar chords being used but an "almost" identical vocal structure as Kinsella. Well the band did 2 7"s one entitled "Failure and departue" which has the first 2 songs this band made. then a 2 song vinyl single. Iginition/Atrophy which sounds different from the rest of there stuff and lastly a self titled 12" of 12 songs which is fucking brilliant. I do know the band made other songs that were enver recorded. It features a member from Portrait obvious on the singing. Id say this band is a between Bells on trike and cap'n jazz. It's too bad this band only did 3 releases. They also did a live set for a radio station but the live set is like an hour long and I am way to lazy to upload that but I do know where to be downloaded at. Its a nice liveset it has a few cover songs and songs that were never released along with a few songs that were released. I mean even the first time I heard the first song by this band "Failure and departure" I got kinda teary I don't know why but the song sounds pretty sad and I heard something about crying. Well I was looking for 90's emo bands and I found this on youtube and I loved what I heard. All you 90's emo nerds get into this.

Discography

The Pennikurvers

Since I posted Crash and Britany and Everyone Asked About You I asked myself (>.>) well I should also post The Pennikurvers. Like the other 2 bands I just mentioned. The Pennikurvers are exactly alike them only a more low fi-ish. The Pennikurvers released a self titled 3 song side A and side B 7" (Most likely it was handmade) in 1995. It featured Bobby Sell from Honeywell as the drummer of this short lived project. I good amount of 90's emo blogs usually post this band while a few others forget or don't know them. Well in Spring 2011 there was a time I was obssesed with 90's emo chick bands so I looked everywhere for bands like these and I came across this one last.fm sadly when I found out they only did 3 songs I had a tear coming from my heart. Because this band was pretty fucking cool, the female vocalist has a very soft singing voice which sounds alike Crash and Britany's band. Actually to think of it. This band has a sound combination between C.A.B and E.A.A.Y. So if your into that whole 90's front girl emo stuff. Dig into this.

The Union Ares

Wel I am back up again with another post. Well after the disbanding of Kolya. The union ares formed and did a 2 song demo entitled for friends afterwards they even played a live set at the fallout shelter where they recorded 2 other new songs not featured on the demo. The live recording is splended and really good. It almost sounds as if it isnt a live set. Afterwards the band disappeared leaving these 4 songs. It sucks they couldve made more but no one knows the reason why this band got dropped. It isn't as similar as Kolya but is something more new and different in a good way.

The union ares

The Vidablue/Ten Grand

Well now with more time on my hands. I have finally posted almost everything on this band or 2 bands although they changed there name while the making of The Comprehensive List of Everyone Who Has Ever Done Anything Wrong to Us. From there on they Changed to Ten Grand. Ten Grand well under that name they did a full length entitled "This is the way to rule" and 2 split's one with Mike Lust and the other with Meth and goats. From there the band didn't split up but the vocalist Matt Davis died in a car crash I believe. It be pretty stupid to replace him so the band just ended afterwards. The vocalsit used a pretty unique style of singing I have not heard elsewhere which is one of the main reasons I dig this badly. Although between the switch name from The Vidablue and Ten Grand the band did not change style at all and would still sound pretty similar to how they began. The only stuff I am missing and is completely nowhere is The Vidablue split w/ Quatro and there demo EP which has a few early versions of The comprehensive list. Other than that. This is all that is out there in one file. Although I really enjoyed The comprehensive list a lot more than the rest of there material. I still like everything they did. So I put a few videos of my favorite 2 songs from this album. This is a really classic among many emotive hardcore/DIY fans. This band is still mentioned in many blogs but formely as Ten Grand. I didin't know they were first called The Vidablue til someone said so and here I thought they released 2 full lengths and 2 splits when they actually released 4 splits,3 full lengths, and one 7". The payload theme song will always remind me of the first time I heard them while Thank you ma'am, may I have several more reminds me of how great they are.

The Vidablue/Ten Grand

Allegory of the cave/Cheer Up

Well I remember listening to this band I believe when I got gragged to last.fm I remember downloading that 7 track demo and the split with spectres. From there I totally forgot of them til I randomly one day checked The emo apocalypse compilation and saw one of there songs on there "I am not zee hero" I tried getting info until I ended up with Cheer Up!. I don't know why they ended up changing the bands name although from Allegory to Cheer Up! you can hear the big gap difference between the 2 although the same 2 piece band. No bass required. Although in Cheer Up! you can hear 2 guitars playing some mathy like The fall of troy but better style with some of the same vocal structure only a little more singing involved to it. I still don't know why they titled it "10 song EP" it is far from even being an extended play. Most extended plays the longest are 7 songs. Usually from 8 or more it's as a full length. Found that wierd. Although this release was also in CDr format and under 50 copies of those were made. Lucky for the ones who ever went to go see Cassettes on fire and cheer up play. I am sure that show was fucking amazing. Well I noticed many files only have the stuff allegory made. So I made one where I have Allegory and Cheer Up!. Sorry if the track names have no titles. When I downloaded them from mediafire they were already like that. But if anyone would like to give me the track names. I hate shit like Track 01 When I already know theres a name for these songs. Well here ya go. Sorry I couldn't find a video for you newcomers. But all I can say. Dig Skramz? Get into this.

Capsule

Anyone remember Capsule fans bitching that Capsule's summer 2011 3rd full length "No ghost" was album of the year? I remember because I was one of those people but I also believed Beau Navire "Hours was also to be entitled "abum of the year" Well Capsule blends to progressiv sounds of hardcore, screamo, punk in a experimental fashion in some for of math rock. Its wierd but god there tunes are fucking brain smashing even when I heard them for the first time it felt as if my eyes popped out my eyesack and was drugged up to the sounds capsule ws creating. Well its been a year since that relase and I haven't heard much from these guys since. Maybe thats just me. Well in the way to honor them I will present them here on my blogspot. For a band from Florida this shit is good which reminds me of such other bands that was also from Florida Monarcs. IS MONARCS THE SAME MEMBERS OF CAPSULE?! Because they definetly both sound very alike.

.Elaine.- A Discography of a High School Memory

Well I finally found every single thing related to the big deuce .Elaine. To me .Elaine. will be a huge part that played in my life although I won't lie I have been in better bands in .Elaine. but this band it is definetly what emo is in Long Beach, California. The songs define the sound of this city we lived in and defined the sound of our shit in high school. We got drunk, high, and played together though we were varied of different musicians on each fucking shitty stuff that were never releasded I finally put it all in one file. 16 songs of a heartbreaking high school memory that it is now turning to a sepia color flashback in my brain whenever I listen to this. I finally made shitty discography CDr's I am selling for 3 bucks. I am only making 30 of these. I think these songs should be free and physical copies. Although the other people I played with don't know of this actual release though I am sure a smile will come out there face just remembering these times we played. I remember our first show at a big house at the edge of Long Beach. We ended up playing the entire 2009 demo, except for the song "Actual Moments" which I am still embaressed about and I never played that song like EVER again. Another show was in the east side in Long Beach on Thanksgiving we did played those same 3 songs along with the other 3 songs from 3 songs, yeah?. I enjoyed playing the stuff from 3 songs more. I felt like we were less booed by the crowd of Ska and Punk teenage kids. I guess they couldnt tell if this was a indie punk, screamo or emo band. To be honest, I don't know neither. We never agreed to what to play. I guess I mixed a bunch of genres and turned it into a big pile of sad dump. But kids didnt know these songs were some depressing shit. They either would shake there head to some of the songs or just had a blank stare towards us thinking "Okay, what the fuck am I listening... Should I walk away? Boo at them? or just stay at the show and buy that 3 songs cd copy? I feel very akward now." I even felt akward playing a show with the wrong crowd that often disrespect this kind of shit but because we mixed it I guess we were an exception to them. We usually played in my backyard and stuff whenever we practiced. Or got high and drunk there. We know our songs were very horrihow often do you come up to a song where the whole world can agree that its a good song, hmm? None. The discography is a set of 16 songs. So not only was it that 2009 4 song fall demo or 3 songs but along with 9 other songs we never fully released. The CDr contains the Bio of the band inside the insert, a half assed booklet on the releases of the shit that was nenver fully released and info of the material. I have made about 5 so far. Will make more if anyone buys. If not it doesn't matter the songs are here for free download.

Mane Horse

I discovered this band early spring 2011 with other similar bands like these such as You'll live, coping, You blew it and such. The band has released a compilation of demos which is now a 4 track ep entitled "Lost unicorns & the masters" which is pretty neat to say. They then released a second EP entitled "What do you mean we're just friends" which is a 5 track EP. the band also has done 2 splits. One which is a 7" split with DJ Bravura and there most recently split Mane Horse/Park Jefferson/My head In Clouds/Charles Barkley 2012 Split. Thats all the band has released which right now they should be working on a full length I suppose for 2013. Well thats all I can say about these guys. So I hope you like this as well.

Malegoat- So far discography to date

I finally feel the fall weather. I also finished my midterm 4 page rough draft. Now with that out the way I have a bit more time to go on here. This band brought my attnetion from Japan for the fact its a Japanese band that is inspired by the midwestern U.S twinkly shit. Actually this band is pretty fucking good. I remember listening to them about in the fall in 2010 I think around there. Pretty much when there newset full length debut "Face the music" came out. Since that release the band has been quite popular around the midwest due to the major influence of its own sound. The bands first release was a 2 song demo CDr in 2005 which the 2 songs were "Pure existence and "Osmosis". One of the songs were later put in there first EP "Plan Infiltration" then when the EP was repressed they added "Pure existence" to it I don't know why not many files contain this track maybe many of the people who uploaded the EP was the first version. The band also did a split and came out in 4 compilations. After all of that within 2005-2009 in 2010 they released "To face the music" which was in tape and cd. Since then I haven't heard of this band. Well there debut has 8 cool tracks. So for fans of Algernon Cadwallader, etc. Youll love this. There song "Change with our time" is still a favorite of mine.

Cursive 90's stuff

On my old blog I remember posting these guys on my first blog. I actually dig there early stuff more than the new stuff of today. I love there The Disruption 7", Sucker and dry 7", The Icebreaker 7", Such blinding stars for starving eyes, and The Storms of early summer: Semantics of song and there split with small brown bike. The 7's were later collected onto one cd entitled The difference between houses and homes. THe thing i disliked was that they re recorded new versions of the 2 songs from the disruption which they shouldve just kept the originals on my opinion. There rest of there stuff like Domestica, Happy Hallow and all that stuff I never liked it sounded to broad and just ehh. Well I remember getting into this band in September 2008 around the same time I heard The spirit of versailles though I heard this band a few weeks before t.s.o.v well I remember listening to one of Domestica's song called "the radiator hums" and it was okay plus i remember figuring out who influenced moneen and Cursive was one of them. My guess was there early stuff. I ended downloading the disruption 7" along with Such blidning stars for starving eyes and I heard "after the movies" and wow I loved it so much. I then just downloaded The icebreaker 7" and sucker and dry and lastly The storms of early summer. And from there I realized thats all i liked from this band. So if many of you familiar with cursive I have all the old stuff here. Since there Compilation cd doesnt features there split with silver I decieded to make my own file with there early vinyl's and splits plus b sides I gathered all together in its own file and own album title since im a organized bastard.

Its the first song from there first 7inch though it isnt the original version from the vinyl

Ambulance! Ambulance!

So I finally purchased Them, Roaring twenties "Future sandwich" album and Alta's "Places" along with Alta's patch. I recieved my Future sandwich CD and since then its been an acid moments in my house. It is fucking great A+ for that album. I am now waiting for Alta's "Places" which should come by tomorrow. The kids from that other band Our sunday affairs never sent me there fucking free EP. its been 2 fucking months and nothing. Fucking dicks I don't even think they gave me my dollar back which I don't care as long as I owned that EP they even posted on facebook to email them as if they don't know who ordered those EP's fucking douchebags. Along with Residuals split tape from fucking last year I ordered and they never sent me that split. I am fucking mad at those 2 bands. Well. Here's the second dead band for today's post. I've actually tried looking for there stuff for 2 years. Unluckily I was able to get 3 songs from there 2005 demo from there purevolume. Last year in the summer one of the members finally posted on mediafire a discography of this band. 2 Demo's that 2005 demo about 8 tracks and another demo entitled guesthouse with 2 tracks. The coolest shit ever is that. This band features members of Lautrec and Fiction like non fiction. Guesthouse demo's actually sounds more like fiction like non fiction on the chords being used which are fucking awesome while there 2005 demo has a more distinct modern post hardcoreish/screamo sound but I think its still fucking cool. For the fact those 2 bands were in one band once in this lifetime. It is hard for me to imagine but yep. I actually first thought it were only members of fiction like non fiction but when I found out also Lautrec it kinda gave me a spark that entirely flipped my world upside down. Well there is no vid's or such so just download it. If you like both bands. You will fucking love this

Yeah I haven't been on here for a good while. I can't give any excuse why. I just I don't know. Well I am back for more shit to post today (as you can see the date) I am posting 2 dead bands. Here is the first dead band. I wouldn't say its an actual discography since the band only released 2 demo's. Very shortlived. Though I do remember when the band started with there first Loudcat demo "Proudcat EP" (though it wasn't entitled proudcat EP since it was just a demo) the 3 songs sort of remind me of such bads as The exploration, midwest penpals, even merchant ships. They only released 6 songs there other demo entitled "Light weight demo" has one of my favorite songs called "Schwinn" well all songs are good for this little beast. Some mediafire files have been deleted so I decieded to post a discography for the memory of this band. There pretty cool and a nice jam band nonetheless.

The speed of sound in seawater

Ahhh many of you will say "what the fuck" well I will say. This band is constructive on there guitar work choosing wisely what notes they will play along with there well written lyrics. To me a song is all about lyrics and the notes played with the song. If you don't have that down then I wouldn't like the band. Unlike bands that are instrumental who chooses there guitar notes very wisely making an entertaining sound to my ears. The speed of sound does vocals and instruments. The band used to be 3 piece during there first EP "Blue version" in 2009. I heard of this band when there first EP just arrived in free digital mp3. The EP was never released in physical copy. The EP is damn jazzy with those quicky notes that almost makes me want to dance with the songs on the Blue version EP it is very good. The vocals are pretty high pitched but soothing to the ears with great rhythm. In 2010 the band released another EP entitled "Red version" They added another guitar and also added few effects to there songs which I think its decent of these guys the EP is slighty a bit poppy though great guitar work. The lyrics are quiet well chosen. Though my favorite song from the red version EP will be "Dinner and a Movie on a Post-Apocalyptic Earth: 12 Bottle Caps, Successfully Repopulating the Human Race: Priceless" the concept of the song is very genius and intelligent to write on. I wont go on what the song is about but if you read the lyrics you will see this band doesn't write random shit like most bands. Though they took a while to release this EP I can see why they did. They wanted a good masterpiece which actually did not failed. I also like the notes played in "The coldest room in the house" very twinkly like. So this one is for you twinkle twinkie heads. The band released a 3rd EP which I did got disappointed for the fact they already released 2 EP's there was no need of an third EP. Most fans expected a full length. There 3rd EP entitled "Underwater Tell Each Other Secrets" released in 2011 must say it is fucking gooooddd. Its like mixing old psychedelic rock with math rock indie and pop rock. I actually enjoyed the band's EP though the EP doesn't fail from being great it was just lame that it was a EP rather than a full length. The band also released "Yellow version" which is a compilation of blue version and red version. It is the first time ever for Blue version to be released on physical copy. The band decieded to take a short break for the winter. I am hoping to see a full length from this band. It is an incredible band from Sacramento. Don't sleep on this band twinkie heads. I will post there bandcamp page rather than a mediafire file. The band offers there music for free and if you really dig it you can buy a physical copy of there third EP. there might be a few available of yellow version.

I create

Well winter is coming and man am I happy. The best part of winter I mean the late fall is the winter break, getting fucked up, and bands. Especially bands. It sets the mood of that nice feeling of content such bands El ten eleven, Boyfriends, 1994!, etc. Anyway. I wanted to go back again on a flashback of mine way back in late 2009. I heard this band around there. I only do remember it was the help of the almighty lst.fm I heard this bands first EP make the years. And my god it is insane. It is it is all I can say, though released in 2007 I really wished I listened to the music I listen to now so that I'd be a part of that moment when that EP came out. They also released a full length entitled "All we are is now" in 2008 which was in 12". The band also did a semi discography which includes all the songs from "All we are is now" and 2 songs from there EP "The needle points north" and "Your sun is a destroyer" which is personally one of my favorite songs from this band. The band mixes from screamo and experimental. I am sure many of you have heard this band, and some maybe not. Though the band broke up last year not leaving the split they promised. This band still gets fans til this day still. There that good.

Antiquity EP

Here is the last release by iwontstopwonderinguntilyoustopbreathing. its pretty much the 3 songs from motionless EP but a different version plus adding a few extra nice notes on songs. It is pretty fucking nice. There are still tapes available i am waiting until Nolan does this on 7" then that be a fersure gift to myself i will buy. It sort of reminds me of the untitled 3 and untitled 4 of Iwrotehaikus 8 song demo. it has the similar style. So haiku fans. Pick this one up.

moneen- Demo

I got my pc back up working bitches. I installed a new power adapter since the one from the computer burned. So I took one from another computer and along with a cd drive since the one I had didn't work as well. So I installed them and my god it works. Fucking genius man. Anyways. I was scared I'd lose the rare shit I have on my computer. I am now going to share with you guys this demo moneen did. Well it has one song from the first full length "What the weatherman forgot to tell you" it is more softer than the original version yet still blues/jazzy on the breadowns. It has a demo version of "Are we really happy with who we are right now?" and a demo version of "With this song I will destroy myself and slowly will do" So for .moneen fans dig this one cause I am sure you won't find this anywhere. When limewire was popular there was these 3 on there and I had a chance to get them and now put them on mediafire to share with you dudes. This one is for you original emo kids

This is the album version of "With this song I will destroy myself"

Her words kill

Due to my computer not working anymore or even my internet I am using my 4G Galaxy S blaze to post on the rest til i get a new computer. Sorry for the disappearing now back. Well to start off. This band doesn't quite fit the profile to be in this blog. and I am aware but What I love of this band is the under rated of the band and the vocals. I am not into the whole new wave of post hardcore bands who consider themselves "screamo" (when there not) well this band is actually one of the early ones. Starting in 2002 through 2007 the band did a decent 3 song demo EP in 2003 entitled I will not die her a hero. The EP has 2 Songs which are decent and one that is the middle track (track 2 which is the intro to the last track which is long. In 2005 they released a 7 song EP (I wont lie it has a pretty stupid name)entitled "Load my revolver, Baby" the EP is actually pretty good in fact its really good. Only because of how the vocalist sings. Its high pitch and smooth unlike bands like Alesana where they try to much on singing high pitch. Well after that the band got lazy and never made anything and i n 2007 they broke up, they had 2 years of making more material but don't know what the fuck happened.Anyway in despite for a nemory I wanted to post them here. They a music video.

p.s it doesnt let me link the texts so i have to go all noob blogspot on you guys for a while copying and pasting the link on the post which i fucking hate :/

Angel Falls

Well I remember listening to this last year in the fall i believe. I kept searching for some 90's emo stuff which I ended up finding alot including this band (although this 7" came out in 2000). The sad news is that the band released a 2 song 7" to my knowledge. There 7" entitled Music on vinyl (HA pretty genius) Well there isnt so much to saw or much info on this band. Best way for me to describe them is that they sound alike Bells on Trike and if you don't know who bells on trike then they sound like Patterns make sunrise (which I have posted them here giving you no excuse not to know them) so yep.

Credit to the guy who runs the awesome blog Desperate and lonely (uses some funky wrtitting I dont understand. But that dude knows his 90's and owns alot of these rare records. He is the 90's emotive boss)

Crocodile Hiss

Well here's a plastic smile post. I don't know if anyone has bought Nolan's short noiscore project Crocodile Hiss. But. It is fucking fast and short. Short as fucking songs and fast. Well here's the only stuff of this project band. sounds like it was done within half an hour. Though it is pretty fucking genius. So yeah. Get to this beast. It is somewhat hard to tell if this is noisecore or some screamo stuff. Buy the tape I believe there are still some available still on plastic smile records blogspot.

Wolverines

A very very underated band that made little releases. a 3 song demo which 2 of the songs were featured on the sibling project split (which is the only most well known release by this band) it also features 3 other new songs. They also did a 3 song liveset cdr (nowhere to be found) and a split with a band called the hiding or some shit like that. Well that split is nowhere neither so what the fuck. The demo isnt nowhere around anymore and I had a chance to grab this file way long ago. So yes its another fucking "oh shit i couldnt find this anywhere, thanks asshole" post. I still want there 3 song live set and that split. As for there sound I don't know how to say this but they have some spice in there style. I don't know just download it. Nothing much is heard from them though I believe there now in Boa Narrow. Which sounds exactly like this.

Braille

I really can't remember how the hell I found this band. I ended up downloading them from a threat. There demo casstte was far from I expected. You can hear that the band has some thrash punk influence especially on the guitars. But something of it is just amazing. I believe I heard them when I was a junior. I then later found one of there songs "apitol" on a Food not bombs benifit compilation vinyl. I also heard a live song of theres that isn't anywhere besides there myspace. There is literally no info on this band. They mustve been very shortlived of a band. Well I gathered there tape and comp track in 1 file. Unlike Anasarca which a few people know. Brialle is the band behind the curtains while the whole emotive hardcore scene was playing in the playground. So you might want to check this very rare band. It is a really good one. Sadly only 4 songs such exist and that live song which isnt anywhere else on the internet unless you know. Then message me. But if you dont download this demo tape and there comp track.

Anasarca 1994-1997

Back to the 90's now. Well fuck. How can a band that existed from 94 through 97 make the shortest discography of all time. A set of 7 songs. Yes... 7 song discography. Well I dont know if the band were jerking each other off or not. Well these songs are increadibly good. This post is for you hardcore 90's nerds. The band did a demo tape of of 4 songs in Summer 1994 (There the last four songs on this discography CD), a 2 song self titled 7" in Spring 1995 (the first 2 songs on the discography CD) and a song on a split 7" with Anonymous also that same time in Spring 1995 (the thirds song on the discography). Yep. Those 3 releases only. The band is most notable for there song "Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt" which is the song from the split. But I would go with there song Enginize from there demo. I think I heard this band in my late Junior high school year. Well if your a 90's emotive hardcore fan. This is a real hardcore nerd band for you guys to check out. I had a video of them playing which looked like a auditorium of an high school they were playing "Eugene Debs" its a pretty cool live set. There are a few live set songs around the internet so catch on to those ass well.

Tracks 3 from there split 7" with Anonymous

Eucalypt Discography tape

Well last week I found this band on last.fm. This is a Austrailian hardcore punk/screamo band. I actually dig the few songs the band did. The band did a 3 song 3" 2006 tour demo and 3 split vinyls. One with Saphora, another with Majorca, a 4 way split with The rabbit theory, Kids return and Duct hearts entitled "Leave Nothing But Footprints, Take Nothing But Photographs - Chapter II" which actually came out this year. I think the band is dead for the fact they did a tape of all there matierial though one of the songs came out on this split this year so its odd. Yep a total of 9 songs all together and released in a collection cassette. I will say there some pretty good jams. I been listening to this when I go to class in the morning even when I am on my way back home from the bus I jam on to this. Well it may be a short discography but its a hella good one.

Collection cassette
Tracks 1-3 from split 7" with Sophora
Tracks 4-5 from split 10" with Majorca
Tracks 6-9 are unreleased tracks and 3" demo

Québec Discography

I am back with more jams. Hmm let me start off with Quebec. An Austrailian Post rock/Screamo band. Well I would always listen to National Thorn 7" in my Art class when I was in 12th grade. It actually brings memories of those times. How boring the class was and all I did was just sit there and listen to this. Well the band had 2 releases in 2006. There first EP in CDr format entitled Primary, Then there first 7" entitled National Thorn and lastly there third EP entitled Together We Have Grown, Together We Shall Bloom. I heard of a split with 2 of there other songs but I just cant rememeber at all. I tried to search on discogs (where I originally heard from it) but it looks like it was removed from there. Hmmm. Well there really fucking catchy ass fuck. And just smoke weed to it cause there fucking dope. I been listening to this a lot recently, I mustve just picked up back on it after forgetting this band after a while. Some stuff from this band like there 7" reminds me of the other band post on here James dean only with a saxophone playing in some songs (which sounds really fucking good) pff better than ska... The band name Quebec is a city from Canada actually, oddly the band is from Austrailia.

How Tragic- Get Dead EP

Last post of the day. Well I was very lazy to post this band up for a major reason. No one has uploaded this EP on mediafire. So I finally did today. I got this EP for free at Radical Friends reocrds. It comes with 4 badass songs. I heard it and I fucking liked what I heard. Its grindy screamo like. Its a band from Baltimore, MD.

Get Dead EP

Toxic Waste

Yep, I just updated this. One of my good friends showed me the track list names. These 9 songs are actually a self released album demo this band did in 2007. My Question is how did my sister get this cd if she graduated in 2006 and in 2007 I was in 10th grade. Maybe the guitarist handed me it. Not sure or can rememeber. This demo is entitled "Leviathan" so I guess this band really proved me wrong. This was a band from my high school. I am not much of a thrash fan since I am always surrounded by that scene and I am the type that likes difference of everything. Nonetheless there a good band. I don't rememeber if I ever saw this band play at a backyard show. Though this stuff brings back memories of those days way before I got into that whole emotive hardcore/skramz stuff.

Leviathan

City Dweller

Now that I am done with my College lame history of rock hw I am free to posts stuff here again. Yeah I been fucking rotation but fuck that, thats history. Well I wasn't planning to post this band here. To be honest I just heard this band 3 minutes ago randomly in youtube. I was searching for the Pine "Loner" and for related videos a video of this band was there. So I clicked it and I like what I heard. I actually thought this band was an emo band from the mid 90's but are actually from today today. The band is from London, UK. I hardly heard any accent it made me think at first they were a san diego band from the mid 90's. Well I posted a video down below of the video I clicked which really made them to like me within 10 seconds. I hope you guys like this too. I posted a link to there bandcamp. downloads are free by the way.

Since my last post on operatic I was informed I am still missing a couple of songs from that that. I went to Chug Lifes blogspot and saw on of the post on friendsforlife records. I went there and I randomly picked this band and my god this band has serious class of post punk/jazz like I dont know but its very catchy as hell it almost reminds me of threee trapped tigers in some way. Well I know I havent posted anything in a few days I been catching up on Revolver Ocelot, friends and school and shit thats shit. Well I decided to post this band today though. So far the band has a tape and im guesssing some stuff that isnt unfinished yet. Well take a look at there bandcamp. Its free plus I was lazy to post it on my mediafire account sorry :(. I been busy and shit and tired lately. ahh. I will try to keep updated as I promised.

Operatic- Entire discography

In my other shitty blog (which I don't use anymore) I remember posting some demos I found over the years and there EP Killing us is easy. Well years later. And NO ONE I mean fucking no one has had the balls to post there 16 other songs all taken from demo's, splits, and unreleased songs. SO you know what the fuck I did. I'll tell you. Raphsody has the demos collection with only 15 song (a song called She Stares is missing on there) well to be honest if that song was missing there, I may have other songs missing too. But I highly doubt it because nothing else is anywhere by these guys besides these 15 songs and there Killing us is easy EP. I found She Stares on youtube (I have real player player and it lets me download the videos as mp3's) so I got she stares from there; while the other 15 I used this program called Audials which lets me record stuff from the computer and converts into mp3. I did the same with there live set at Casbah. The Scolaris live set I found it in some wierd site no one uses. It took me years to finally gather all this shit together. So this is a very very fucking special post.. Not to be a douche but I know this is the first blog to contain the bands entire discography. The band did not leave any note of a discography file anywhere or even bothered with the fans request of these demos. Instead they wanted people to buy there demos on Raphsody (which I think its bullshit) the band shouldve just made an entire cd discography it be easy for all of us. Hardly anyone uses Raphsody. Well I think the band took place in early 2003. They made a few demos and released a split EP in 2004 which is not mentioned on the internet and only through the live set on Casbah. The band was pretty succesful to release one of there songs on a ps2 game in 2004 "thug 2" if anyone ever remembers the song "Interested in madness" from that point, that is where I found out about this band, I was 12 at the time. From what is mentioned on ther last.fm the band broke up because they didn't get well known. Well to be blunt, thats the stupidest fucking reason. I mean the band had one of there songs on a etnies commercial. The band did about 4 music videos. 2 of interested in madness one is an actual video of the song and the other was a project video for college from one of the members I believe. I think the band became critically successful without getting too much overrated recognition from having a song on a video game, a song on a skateboard company commercial, and music videos. Yes this band is from cali, San Diego. The members went off to shitty bands that sounds nowhere near Operatic. Though now I am happy that I have there whole entire discography I been dreaming of having since 2004. with that being said. Download this cool alternative/indie/emo band. There fucking dope and they are pretty forgotten but with great singles ssuch as "Interested in madness" (came out in thug 2), "failed Disfascination" (came on the etnies commercial),"Fiona" (which was played in fox tv) This band really tried to get recognition. I do feel a bit cocky for being the first to post an entire discography of this band. I should feel proud.

2049

Iv'e taken time for myself to do stuff. Mainly play with my new phone which is a smart phone. Its fucking fun. Well now to get back on task. 2049 isn't your average screamo band. The band blends some sick piano into the music. They really knew how to mix it. Though the band only lasted half a year Fall 2009- Summer 2010. I didn't hear of this band until Spring of 2011. The band managed to make 6 songs (2 EP's) There last EP Old Phyrexia actually came out when the band was dead but didn't have the chance to mixed the songs until fall 2011. It still almost follows the same path of there first EP torches (just with no piano). Great band, but defiently short lived. One of my favorite songs of theres and is a well memory of my Spring 2011 would be from there Torches EP Apostles and then Preserve. One of the songs from Ol Phyrexia also came out in "Monster mash compilation tape volume 1" by Plastic smile records, the tape was for 2 dollars and later decreased to 1. I don't think the comp is available anymore.

High & Driving

Well its one of Anthony Greens short project bands along with Jeer at rome which took in that same year, after the end of the band Audience of one; High & driving only made a 4 song demo. It has some emo/math rock influence. Hmm its good stuff it also has the first original version of Anthony Green's famous song "Baby Girl". The EP was only digital free released til in 2008 Anthony Green released his first solo full length debut album "Avalon" the album ended up having these 4 songs on there. High & Driving is Anthony green. So it be fair to have those songs on his debut length. Its great stuff I listened to in early 2008 once my firend got me into Saosin in 2006 and Circa Survive in 2007. On the EP the first 2 songs are pretty dope a bit similar to each other. While track three is a acoustic gloomyish. And finally track 4 "Baby Girl" is a lovey duvey song with a happy vibe.

Stage Kids- Self titled EP & Headless Tribe vol. 1

Well I am back again. Stage Kids left there music for free for a limited time. Since I couldn't get a hold of there self titled EP ANYWHERE I decided to post it on mediafire since no one has. Its a good set of 6 of the coolest instrumental math rock trakcs I have ever heard. The bands Tofu Killer EP is fucking great too. This band is now my favorite math rock band. Both of the bands EP's are great as fuck. It gave me the feel of just relaxing life. As for there Headless Tribe vol. 1 its like a compilation split (although Stage kids are only the intro of this compilation split). It features some DJ like artists that a fucking increadibly good. If its called "glitch music" it said in there bandcamp. I couldnt find the other artist anywhere besides in this 18 track compilation. Well it doesn't offers much from Stage kids. But it definetly reminds you of Stage kids songs like "The cloud pleaser" from there self titled EP which has hardly little or no guitar work of bass, just sick glitchy ass lines all over the track. Its a good compilation though. Tracks 2-5 are by the name of dr. sus, 6-9 by winter inter, track 10 by ace, 11-14 by noise, and 15-18 by day la. To be honest. they all sound like one artist since its that same path of clitchy like instrumental hip hop beat music. Its really that fucking good that I will post it here on my blog. Well if you havent seen the other post on Stage kids, go and check it. and download these releases. Its fucking godlike.

Lana Avacada

This band has disappeared after there first full length release "The Warehouse" This band is quite similar to CSTVT. The band also includes singing and gruffy stlye shouting vocals. This band has been stating on there shoutbox in there last.fm page that there alive and are going to make a full length. Well. The warehouse came out in 2009, almost/about 3 years yet no sign of this band or anything. Despite that. The full length is incredibly hot. I heard this in early fall 2011. Some songs still kind of remind me of my ex and the days I would go off to visit her and such. Since I posted on CSTVT who is more well known than Lana, I think Lana should be right next to CSTVT for the similarity sound. So if your a fan of the twinkly CSTVT. Lana Avacada is right for you. I uploaded there full length since the other files on the internet its missing track 7 "explorate (or explore it). I dont know what fucking idiot would do that and another idiot copying down the same file. So there are mutiple files of this album with that missing track. p.s they did a cover song by the black eyed peas. "boom boom pow" which is like better than the shit eyed peas.

The Warehouse

Castevet (CSTVT)

Yeah I am back, I took the day off yesterday to post anything. But today I got some special stuff for you guys to throw at. Remember CSTVT when it was Castevet? Well I present you CSTVT. I remember listening to this band in December 2010. I knew this band for a long time but never gave the actual listen til that year. I must say. It is fucking sick, gruffy vocals clean note twinkly guitar notes. Yeah. Its that fucking dope. Thhis band was suppose to release a full length a while back but yet nothing has been heard of this band, though members left a shoutbox on last.fm stating there jamming still. I really want to hear there new stuff. The band has 2 full lengths, a split 7" a self titled tour 7" and a song on a compilation. Hmm it still seems quite a bit. Oh what the hell its a great band. Well I did a little so far discography AGAIN in case if any of you hasnt heard them. This band mixes emo/screamo like vocals/math rock or what those new kids call "twinkle daddies". Whenever I listen to there first full length Summer Fences. It reminds me of the winter and new years I don't know why. It just does. One thing I noticed on the bands second full length "The echo and the light" they have different versions of songs example. There song "Cities and memory on the tape version is different from the 12" along with there song "Lautrec" it is as well different. Since my favorite song of theres is "Cities and memory" I posted the album version and a live set of the song. Not many bands actually sound like this. Besides Lana Avacada. But I will speak of them next post.

Penknifelovelife

Now this band was one of those myspace back in the day bands that would randomly add you as a friend. When I made a myspace in early Fall 2006 this band added me. First song I heard by them was "Touch me again and I will stab a screwdriver into your face" Im not into the whole scene fairy shit. But this band is pretty dope and DIY too. The band released several demos and 2 EP's from 2004-2007 did this UK band existed. I remember them mentioning there break up in myspace. The vocalist went to Cali and stuff. I don't see blogs having a actual Discography of these guys. I am only missing about 2 live demo tracks which are most likely forgotten. It did took me a while on the demos rather on the EP's (which are very short) The band never got to release a full length) though im glad they never got over rated and such. This band came back to my senses a few nights ago and desrve a post. There not a metal or hardcore band most DIY fairies say they are and aren't much of a real screamo band. But are sorta of a post hardcore/new wave screamo type of band. Though they are pretty good to begin with. The screaming vocals get to me at times.

Toru Okada

Most blogs mentioned this band. Ima mention it too. Toru was a emo band from texas that existed from 2003-2006 having 4 releases. 2 splits, a self titled 12" and a compilation of there 2 demo's entitled 8 songs. So i did a little discography for you guys. There just a emo/screamo band. Pretty good one too One of there most well songs and first song I heard by them was "Kiss me through the computer screen" I fucking loved it. I don't know what else to mention about these guys but there pretty dope. If you know them cool, if not. Download there entire discography. Its pretty short but good. The version of our great cities in the 8 songs was also in a split with Die! emperor, Die!. I don't remember exactly when I started listening to this band somehwere around fall 2009 I think or early spring 2009.

There song "Lights out" is also another memorable song of theres I really like.

Girlfriends

I speak of the Jerry Joiner's Girlfriends. Not the other shitty ones. Girlfriends is a or was a one man project band by Jerry Joiner who did Guitar, Keyboards and Drums. It was fucking genius. He relased a 11 track self titled taped about last year under Square of Opposition records. The self titled came out in 2009 but was a free download still is. He also did 9 songs but in reverse. One of his songs was featured on a single 7" split with El ten eleven. Girlfriends is now a 3 piece band. He did mentioned about new songs by the end of summer yet this has not happened. Busy dude most likely. He a very talented dude with skills and rhythm Its hard to describe the style of music he plays. It is up to you.

Mesa Verde

Well I had a shitty experience involving fire, a blunt and a mini trash can. Yep. Now that the mess is clean I won't be talking about Instrumental twinkly daddies that much today. No today I bring you a Emotive hardcore/screamo band Mesa Verde. This is a band I checked out when I got into the band "I create" As you can see my music is reccomended by last.fm and there good at that too. I listened to this band actually last year around February. Well during its run in 2005-2008 (The band isn't dead) They released a 4 song demo entitled "In this silence we will slow dance EP". What grinded my balls which is a minor complaint. Is it an Extended play or a demo. I literally got confused thinking they made a demo and in seperate this EP in there last.fm they mention the demo as is own release and the EP as its it has its own release too. So I left them something on facebook and let them know about the demo they told me that EP is the demo. Finally. Anyway the demo EP was released in 2005. In 2006 the band released there 2nd EP in 2004 with 4 tracks and one untitled ambient track which I dont include on the file called "Amor Fati EP". And way later til 2008 they released there third EP entitled "The old road" consists of 6 tracks. Pretty dope too. The band wasn't heard around and disappeared somewhat til 2011 a song called In 64 was featured in a compilation called "Make Yer Ane Compilation II" The band isnt much heard a lot since. I think they still play shows and have mentioned of a full length. Though its been taking them a while to do so. Well heres there entire discography they have made so far. If you like real screamo/Post rock/experimental here's a good one. Don't sleep on it.

Loose Lips Sink Ships

Now ya know I would post up this band since I posted Them, Roaring Twenties up hear last year I believe. Just took me a while and wanted to cover up other bands before I go to this one :p. Well As many you know LLSS has recently released a split LP with that wierd band Neaumenom (or whatever there fucking called) I tried listening to them but ehh they were to mediocre not to be harsh or anything anyway. This band is broke up. And has released a good few of stuff though mostly short releases which just fucking teased my balls. I would say this band doesn't tap as most noram instrumental twinkly math rock bands. But sure is one of them. Some breakdowns are timed off. Well most are, and thats fucking genius. They also through down solos in between. The band started in 2007 with a Demo of 4 untitled songs. Though these for songs are pretty slow and no lie somewhat kinda boring they later became giddy in the rest of there releases. I found there whole discography file on my phone. I believe its just missing the short ambient tracks from there only full length puptent (there arent worth much to listen to its just noise tracks) and its missing the Bro grinds split. Which I couldnt find anywhere on the internet and I am in no mood to buy this split wait for the shipping and convert it to my pc. Fuck that. So Ill just wait til its out and ready to be on mp3. For know you can download all this in one file here. Oh and heres there full DVD live set to there live full length 082710. They are fucking amazing and is one of my favorite twinkly instrumental math rock band.
